You may think you're a "Good Person", but it's our Thought Life & Heart that Defiles us and makes us Unacceptable to God. Mark 7:20-23 Jesus says, “Out of a Person’s Heart, come Evil Thoughts, Sexual Immorality, Theft, Murder, Adultery, Greed, Wickedness, Deceit, Lustful Desires, Envy, Slander, Pride, and Foolishness. All these Evil things come from within; they are what Defile you and make you Unacceptable to God.” Heb.12:14 "Without Holiness no man shall see God." Now let's compare our so called "Goodness" to God's Perfect Standards, the 10 Commandments & God's Word.

(Exodus 20:3-17)

If you've ever Lied or Stolen, then God sees you as a Liar & Thief. Jesus says if you look at a person to Lust, you Commit Adultery in Your Heart. (Matt. 5:28) If you've Hated someone, God sees you as a Murderer. (1 John 3:15) Thieves & Adulterers will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven (1 Cor. 6:9). Liars & Murderers will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. (Rev.21:8) We're All Guilty (Rom. 3:23) and on Judgment Day we'd All End up in Hell. (Rev. 20:11-16; Rom. 2:5-11,16; 2 Thes. 1:7-12)

GOOD NEWS!

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

We don't have to go to Hell! God Loves us so much He sent His Son Jesus to take the Punishment and Die for our Sins (Rom.3:21-31; Eph.2:1-10); to satisfy God's Anger against us. (Rom 1:18-2:16) On Judgment Day Jesus can declare us "Not Guilty" IF we: Repent (Acts 17:30-31) & Trust in Jesus (Acts 20:21), Forsake Sin (1 Jn 3:7-10), Obey God's Commandments (1 John 2:3-6).
