As you read or hear this message, you may have some thoughts and emotions to stop. I hope you will resist. People may knock on your door. The telephone may ring. Despite these possible disturbances, I hope you will read or listen through to its completion.

Satan looks beautiful on the outside, but he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. On the inside, he is the most ruthless, evil, deceitful, yet intelligent being ever created.

He is the father of the unsaved, and all that practice evil. He is the father of the worst killers and terrorist, but his evil exceeds them all. His goal is to deceive angels and you, plus overthrow God.

He hates born again Christians, Jews, and God’s angels.
From your birth, he tries to make sure you never follow Jesus. If you do, he becomes your enemy and worst nightmare. Then he tries to make you return to him.

The Christian’s defense is understanding and obeying God’s Word, plus not giving a place to the devil by willfully sinning. Nevertheless, the born again Christian may be faced with every temptation imaginable as they serve God. Some may be killed.
Satan tries to stop Christians from serving the Lord and studying His Word. How did this all come about?

 

GOD HAS A PLAN, WHICH BEGAN WITH THE CREATION OF THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH - Gen 1:1; 1 Pet 1:20. He created the earth to be inhabited. All things we see (which are temporary) were created by Christ Jesus from the eternal realm we do not see-ref 2 Cor 4:18; Heb 11:3. He created angels—some good, and some that rebelled. He created one that was more intelligent and beautiful than the others, but iniquity was found in him. His names include Lucifer, the serpent, Satan, the devil, the anointed cherub, son of the morning, and the dragon. This angel (ref Ezek 28:12-19; Isa 14:12-17; Gen 3:1-12; John 8:44) was FULL OF WISDOM, AND PERFECT IN BEAUTY. He has been in Eden the Garden Of God;…Thou Wast Perfect In Thy Ways From The Day That Thou Wast Created, Till Iniquity Was Found in Thee. By the Multitude of thy Merchandise they have Filled the Midst Of Thee With Violence, and Thou Hast Sinned: Thine Heart Was Lifted Up Because of thy Beauty, Thou Hast Corrupted Thy Wisdom By Reason Of Thy Brightness.
                                                                                                                                                                                 

Now the Serpent was More Subtil (or Crafty or cunning) than any beast of the Field...

• John 8:44 "..He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
  

As time passed, Lucifer wanted to overthrow God. He said in his heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:…i will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Lucifer’s power to deceive is so great that 1/3rd of the ANGELS OF HEAVEN rebelled and FOLLOWED him-ref Rev 12:4. Nearly all of humanity, from Adam and Eve to now, have followed Satan. To not follow God, is to follow Satan-ref Matt 12:20.

WHEN THE TIME WAS RIGHT, GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE. He was created to serve God and be tested to see if he would obey God or not. This is the battle all must go through. Adam and Eve had God’s Word. They had everything for a wonderful life. But it wasn’t enough. Then Eve heard the serpent’s lies and half truths, consisting of only 46 words. Her heart chose to believe the lies over God’s Word. Adam also chose the lies of the deceiver through his wife. A sentence of death was pronounced on humanity because of rebellion and sin. From that time, people are born with a sinful nature. You do not have to teach a child to lie. It is natural. You need to teach him to tell the truth. Man’s nature is rebellious like sheep. As it is written, ALL WE LIKE SHEEP HAVE GONE ASTRAY-Isa 53:6.

TO FOLLOW JESUS MEANS YOU NEED TO REPENT AND DO HIS WILL, NOT YOUR WILL. Most want their own way now and take their chances later. Satan gives you thoughts that you can do this. HE DID IT WITH EVE. She believed the lies. She perished-ref Gen 3:1-24. Let God be true and every man a liar-ref Rom 3:4. Jesus came and died for our sins on the cross, in order to set men free. All that follow, obey, and trust in Him and Him alone, denying themselves, shall inherit eternal life; however, few there are that will do this-Matt 7:13-29.

This includes trying to thwart God’s plan, deceiving the angels, deceiving the world, and deceiving you. It will be revealed under intense pressure, even under the threat of death for some, who is on the Lord’s side and who is not. Satan was created full of wisdom and has an in-depth understanding of man’s nature-ref Mark 8:33; Job 1:11; 2:4-5. He understands man's weaknesses and knows how to deceive you. He can plan multitudes of situations in advance with their alternatives. The greatest human brains that ever lived are no match for Satan. He has thousands of years of experience. The unseen spiritual realm is where God, the angels, Satan, and the demons operate. It is past finding out-ref Job 9:10; 11:33.

They do not want God’s Word to—reign—over them, because Satan puts thoughts of rebellion in their mind, which their heart agrees with-ref Luke 19:27. However, when a person gets saved they receive the Holy Spirit. This gives them additional power to resist sin. Things that are wrong seem more sinful to the new Christian. It is written, Ps 119:128-I hate every false way. Prov 8:13-The fear of the LORD is to hate evil. The Bible gives them knowledge on how to defeat Satan.

 

SATAN WAS GIVEN, WHAT SEEMS LIKE, UNLIMITED POWER, TO DECEIVE THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, to bring upon them a deep fog (or darkness, or blindness) when it comes to believing or understanding God’s Word. But God lifts that fog for those He calls.

YOU WERE BORN AT THE EXACT TIME ORDAINED TO BE TESTED TO SEE IF YOU WILL FOLLOW JESUS—NO MATTER WHAT. If your heart follows the Bible you will be with Jesus, if not you will perish. So Satan makes you believe you are following God’s Word, when you are not. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THEIR EVIL THOUGHTS ARE PUT THERE BY THE DEVIL. They are ignorant of Satan’s devices and that many ministers belong to Satan-ref 2 Cor 2:11, 1 Cor 11:13-15. Satan can put thoughts in peoples’ mind that even the most evil clergy and child molesters are of God, and people still go to their churches. Friend, this is deception. Luke 11:44 It is Written: "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them." Satan can speak lies and half truths and make you believe it is God. He is the master of deception—the most crafty, subtle, intelligent of God’s created beings. Rev 12:9 "Satan deceives the whole world."

THE BLINDNESS OF A PERSON’S HEART DECEIVES THEM. A person’s own agenda, which is contrary to God’s Word, blinds them. People want their own way, not God’s way—this deceives them, as there is a lack of repentance. Satan’s programming agenda begins in our childhood and never ends until we die or are raptured. He blinds people to the fact that he exists. He has the power to make people do what he wants, such as crucify Jesus Christ, make wars, and irritate you.
He can make people think right is wrong and wrong is right and that the sky is black, when it is blue.

Satan can stir up an angry spirit in you.
Satan can make you believe the Bible is not God’s Word, when it is.
He can make you believe the Bible says things it does not, and make you believe it does not say what it really does. Satan twists God’s Word-ref Matt 4:3-10.
The deceiver can make people sure they are saved, when they are not.
Satan tells man that evolution is how he came into existence. Man blindly believes it, despite overwhelming evidence that in an instant—time, space, matter, and energy all came into existence. There is no chance that the universe just happened by chance and the perfect balance and combination of many factors necessary for life came through evolution. Some teachers know this, but because of fear, they promote the lie of evolution.
If a person is hardened toward being corrected when he is wrong (which is pride), he will most likely perish. He is meat for Satan. Life is a test.

 

FEW RECOGNIZE SATAN GIVING THEM THOUGHTS or stirring up their emotions, such as anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, fear, and pride. Satan uses your desire—to be someone, to be wanted, and your desire to live the way you want—to deceive you.

He puts hate, rebellion and stubbornness in your heart, while God puts love, forgiveness, and the fruits of the Spirit in your heart. Which do you follow?

Satan tells man he can serve God and himself. Man believes it, but then perishes.
Satan does not tell those he deceives they will perish, but God’s Word does, but man does not believe God. Many do not believe there is a hell until they get there. Search the Scriptures and see for yourself.

Most are clueless regarding their own thoughts, Satan’s thoughts in their head, or the Lord trying to correct them. To most, ALL THOUGHTS ARE SIMPLY THEIR OWN. To them the idea that they have thoughts from Satan is ridiculous. See: Voices - Hearing Voices

Through Satan, THOUSANDS OF FALSE RELIGIONS exist. Most people will perish, but never know it until it happens-Luke 16:23.

• 1 Pet 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

Satan’s voice in your head can be like a roaring lion. He can make you afraid with thoughts, such as “what if this happens?” Or cause his followers to put you in jail, though you did nothing wrong.

However, in the history of the Bible, the DEVIL HAS NEVER BEEN ABLE TO STOP OR ALTER ONE SINGLE PROPHECY out of thousands. He tried to stop Israel from inheriting the Promised Land, tried to kill the baby Jesus, and tried to stop Israel’s rebirth, but failed. He tried to deceive Jesus, but failed. PROPHECY PROVES THE BIBLE CAN ONLY BE THE WORD OF GOD. Every prophecy in the future will come to pass, as it has in the past. You can bet your life on it. It is not possible that any person could write over 1000 prophecies, hundreds of years before they happen, and be 100% perfect in every detail. The Bible does this. The probability that the Bible is the Word of God is beyond 8 x 10 to the 63rd power. If you think the Bible is not true, you had better think again.

WE ARE NOW LIVING IN THE LATTER DAYS OF THE END TIMES. The Bible reveals that during this time, violence, sin, and filthy conversation will increase as birth pangs of a woman. Sexually perverse people and their hostility will increase and become accepted—ref Gen 19:9; Luke 17:29. All of man’s ways will be corrupted. The Bible will become less accepted, as hate increases. The preaching of most is already unacceptable to God-ref Rev 3:16. Persecutions against God-fearing people and churches that teach truth will become intense. The world will try to eliminate Jesus and His Word, so people will not know what is happening. This is happening now-ref Matt 24:37; Luke 17:28-29; 2 Pet 2:4-8; Rev 3:14-22. In this time of many enjoyable things to do and see, both Christians and non-Christians have no desire to deny themselves. Satan puts in your thoughts—you only live once, enjoy everything while you can.

SATAN HAS A SON called the Antichrist or beast. The number of his name is 666-Rev 13:18. We believe he is alive right now, probably in Europe. He is being restrained from coming forth, until God’s children are removed-ref 2 Thes 2:7.

Just before the Tribulation happens, God will remove His children.

• 1 Thess 4:16-17-For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

THE CAUGHT UP, OR TRANSLATION, or what we call the Rapture will happen (we believe soon). Those raptured are before the God’s throne, as the 7 seals are opened by Jesus-ref Rev chapters 4-6.

 

AFTER THE RAPTURE - Rom 14:10

• 2 Cor 5:10 Paul talking to Believers, "WE SHALL ALL STAND BEFORE THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST… that every one may receive the things done in his body,…whether it be good or bad."

THIS JUDGMENT OF GOD'S CHILDREN IS FOR REWARDS OR LOSS REWARDS.

During a lifetime, people go through a battle for their soul, which takes place in their thoughts. Getting an education, becoming a billionaire, getting married, means nothing compared with the loss of their soul. For those that receive Christ and stand firm—these are also tested for their positions of authority during the Millennium, plus eternal rewards including crowns. God’s children receive: 1 Pet 1:4…an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven….

A person’s attitude, childlike submission to God, and faithfulness is being tested. Some that follow Jesus are excuse-makers. Some work a 4 hour day, when God has called them to work more. Elders are judged more critically, for they are also examples to the flock. They can gain more rewards, but lose more. Even a person’s excuses will be judged: Matt 12:36-Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof...

Each of God’s children have some talents. Some receive 10, some 5, some 2, and some 1. Some work hard beyond their calling and multiply them. They study God’s Word, day and night. Whatever God calls them to do, they do it with all their heart-2 Chr 31:21. Excuses are not in their dictionary, neither is a reluctant attitude. A person that receives only 1 talent can multiply it to 10—but, then, they will receive more at the Judgment-ref Matt 25:19. Some may be given 10, but only have 5 left.

There are ranks in God’s army. Eph 4:11-12-And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry... Some are lay people, missionaries, or elders. Life is a Test.

During the Millennium, some will reign over tens, fifties, hundreds, thousands, cities, etc. The position of God’s children is determined during their lifetime according to their faithfulness.

Some will work 10, 12, 14 hours a day. This seems to be what Jesus (our example) did. Mark 6:31-Jesus said, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for…they had no leisure so much as to eat. Paul also tells us: 2 Cor 11:23-Are they ministers of Christ?…I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure…

Satan knows how to make a person a busybody, doing things they feel they must do, but accomplishing little God has called them to do. God is not pleased with a lazy, complaining, excuse-making servant. For a full reward, do that which pleases God-ref 2 John 1:8.

The Judgment also includes:

• Matt 5:19 "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

All people are bombarded with deceitful thoughts, but God’s children can learn to recognize and resist them.

 

ONCE THE RAPTURE OCCURS, THE ANTICHRIST COMES FORTH.

He is also called the beast, the man of sin, and the number of his name is 666. HE WILL SIGN A COVENANT WITH ISRAEL AND OTHERS-Dan 9:27. This begins THE TRIBULATION. It is the worst time, since man has been on the earth.

 

DURING THE FIRST PART—WHAT WE CALL WW3 (the Russian/Arab invasion of Israel-Ezek 38, Rev 6:4) will take the lives of one-fourth of the world’s population. There will be famine and food prices soar. Sin and hate abound.

DURING THE TRIBULATION (about 3 ½ years from the end, the second part) people must take a mark of the Antichrist in or on their right hand or forehead-Rev 13:16. If they refuse, they cannot buy or sell. All must worship an image of the Antichrist or be beheaded-ref Rev 13:15. Most of the world’s population will take the mark and worship the image; thus, committing the unforgivable sin. They accept the Antichrist as God. The Bible warns do not do it, but because of intense pressure, they do it anyway. During the second part, one-third of the world’s population dies, as 200 million troops come to Israel from the far east-ref Rev 9:15.

THEN THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON EXPLODES IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION. Jesus returns with His saints-ref Zech 14:5; Rev 19:14 to fight against Satan, the Antichrist, false prophet, his angels, and those that pledged allegiance to Satan by taking the mark and worshipping the image. It lasts 24 hours. The blood at Armageddon will be about 5 feet deep for about 180 miles. Jesus uses the weather—tornadoes, lightnings, earthquakes. Satan’s forces are terrified as they die. There are so few people left alive that a child may write them. The Antichrist and his false prophet are thrown alive into the lake of fire-Rev 19:20.

 

AT THIS TIME SATAN HAS FULFILLED PART OF WHAT HE WAS TO ACCOMPLISH.

• Rev 20:1-3 An angel will come down from heaven, “having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."

• Isaiah 14:12-17 " How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
  
  The Tribulation is closer than you may think. It happens soon, after the catching away of God’s servants.

THE JUDGMENT OF THE NATIONS IS HELD - Matt 25:31. FOR 1000 YEARS, JESUS (the King of Kings and Lord of Lords) WILL REIGN AND RULE IN HIS TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM. This is called the Millennium. The saints also reign and rule. Because Satan is bound, there will be love and peace. The world will love the Jew. When Satan is later loosed, there is violence and war again.

TRY TO UNDERSTAND SATAN’S POWER OF DECEPTION. Look at today versus the way things will be when Satan is bound. THERE ARE wars, arguments, bitterness, cheating, lying, stealing, hatred, drugs, mass murders, torture, selling body parts, killing unborn babies, and every sinful lifestyle and sexual perversion imaginable. Cable TV and the Internet are overflowing with pornography. Comedians mock God, and the audiences laugh. There is hatred toward God, the Bible, preachers preaching truth, and God’s people Israel. Television, movies, and children’s cartoons on Saturday morning are filled with violence, and the people seem to love to have it so. Can a new movie be found that doesn’t curse God’s name?—and if a person attends, why doesn’t he walk out and get a refund? It is because the number of real born again Christians are few.

NOW LET US LOOK AT THE WAY THINGS WILL BE WHEN JESUS REIGNS, AND SATAN IS BOUND.
IMAGINE YOURSELF. ONE MOMENT YOU ARE HAVING ALL SORTS OF EVIL THOUGHTS of anger, bitterness, sex, and hatred toward your neighbor. You are surrounded with cursing and foul language. You are upset with your boss. Your wife talks a mile a minute.

THEN, IN AN INSTANT, THOSE THOUGHTS DISAPPEAR, and your mind is filled with—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control-ref Gal 5:22. There is no more selfishness, cheating, lying, war, and stealing. There are no more sinful lifestyles. The woman that talks a mile a minute—stops. She no longer feels rejected. It is a miracle. Can you imagine a world that will love Israel, and the Jew, and each other? It is because Satan is bound. The earth will love, worship, and obey Jesus.

IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WAY PEOPLE ARE NOW, as opposed to the way they will be during the Millennium, then you can get a glimpse of the incredible power of your adversary—Satan—to fill people’s minds with hatred, garbage and deceit. This includes your mind also. If Satan was locked up right now, the evil thinking and enticing thoughts YOU have, even WISECRACKS, WOULD STOP. God’s will for you right now is to repent, be converted and let Jesus begin transforming you to be like Him—despite the power of Satan bombarding your thoughts.

AFTER THE 1000 YEARS, SATAN IS LET LOOSE. WHY? As Satan goes forth to deceive people, what is in each person’s heart will be revealed. During the Millennium, a person’s life span will greatly increase. A child will be a hundred years old. Billions of people will be born.

• Rev 20:7-10 "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations....(the people born during the Millennium will be tested),... which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."
  
  There are two groups: the saints and Jerusalem on one side, and the rest of humanity led by Satan on the other, wanting to kill the Jews and Christians. Satan’s hypnotic powers to deceive are awesome. At this time, all that Satan was destined to do is finished.

SATAN’S EXISTENCE ENDS.

• Ezek 28:18-19 "God says…bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: Thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more."

• Rev 20:10 “And the Devil that Deceived them was Cast into the Lake Of Fire and brimstone, where the Beast and the False Prophet are, and shall be Tormented Day And Night Forever and Ever.”

The lake of fire was created for the devil and his angels-ref Matt 25:41, and for all that rejects the forgiveness of their sins that is offered through faith in Christ. When an unsaved person dies, they go to a place of torment called hell. This is where the rich man is of Luke 16:19-31. This is where they stay until the Great White Throne Judgment. Did you know all these things?

 

NEXT COMES THE JUDGMENT OF THE UNSAVED, the final Judgment.

• Rev 20:11-15 And I saw a Great White Throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were Judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the Lake of Fire."
  

YOU WERE BORN TO BE TESTED—WILL YOU FOLLOW GOD OR SATAN? There is no other choice. If you are not for God, you are against Him-ref Luke 11:23. The unsaved are being TESTED TO DETERMINE THEIR ETERNAL PUNISHMENT. The number of stripes each receives before being cast into the fire at the Great White Throne is determined during the person’s lifetime. At this Judgment, there appears to be two groups and various amounts of stripes. These are part of the eternal torment. There is also the tongue of the unsaved being set on fire and burning forever and ever. We might say that group 1 is for the lower, less wicked ranks; while group 2 is for the higher, more evil ones. There are also degrees of sin, plus lesser and greater abominations. Jesus said-John 19:11-He that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. Those that practice perverted lifestyles and try to force such things on God’s children—woe to them! Such tried to do so to those sent to Lot-ref Gen 19:9 and were destroyed.

GROUP 1 - ARE THOSE THAT WERE NEVER SAVED AND NEVER KNEW GOD’S WILL. Some were nice people that may have given to the poor. They were passive. They did not come against those that followed Jesus, but neither did they receive Jesus as their Saviour. In this group, there can be those whose heart is evil. These receive few stripes.

 

GROUP 2 - ARE THOSE THAT AGGRESSIVELY TEMPT AND OFFEND THE BRETHREN, putting stumbling blocks in their path. Their hearts are evil. These include unsaved clergy. These can include terrorists. (Group 2) can also include:

• Luke 12:45-47 "But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant, which KNEW HIS LORD'S WILL, and prepared not himself, NEITHER DID ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, shall be beaten with MANY STRIPES."

Group 1

• Luke 12:48 "But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes."

Group 2

• Matt 18:6-7-But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. …Woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!-ref Mark 9:42; Luke 17:1-2.
  

Group 1 and 2

• Jam 3:5,6,8-1 "The tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things…And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and IT IS SET ON FIRE OF HELL. …The tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil,… Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men…"

All that appear at this Judgment chose to believe the lies, the half truths, and various deceptions that the devil flooded their thoughts with. Some had a spirit of fear. Others were prideful. Some were busybodies, no time for God. Some of these professed Jesus Christ-ref Matt 7:20-28, but their heart was far from Him.

SOME THOUGHTS THE UNSAVED HAVE ARE AS FOLLOWS—

1. There is no God, no heaven, no hell, only now.
   
2. The Bible was only written by men.
   
3. Don’t tell me I’ve fallen-2 Thes 2:3; Rev 2:5; Gal 5:4. There is nothing wrong with what I am doing. I believe in God.
   
4. I know I am saved. Don’t tell me otherwise.
   
5. I am a Catholic, a Protestant, a Hindu, a Moslem, a Buddhist, a Jehovah’s Witness, a Mormon, etc. I’ll believe my own way.
   
6. I am a good person, better than most.
   
7. When being corrected by their preacher some have thoughts: The Preacher doesn’t understand.
   Some thought their good works, church, or religion could save them. Only through repentance and trust in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, Who is come in the flesh, can you be saved.
   

 

YOU ARE IN A BATTLE FOR YOUR SOUL. This battle takes place in your flesh, heart and thoughts. When the battle is over, God will know who loves Him, and will follow Him, and who will not. Satan’s mission is to use every means of persuasion that exists, both physical and mental, to insure that you do not die in faith following the Lord.

EACH OF US ARE BORN WITH A CERTAIN TYPE OF A HEART. These include a WAYSIDE HEART, STONY HEART, THORNY HEART, AND A GOOD HEART - Matt 13:1-23; Mark 4:1-20; and Luke 8:5-15. Within these categories, there are many others. There is an evil heart, fearful heart, doubting heart, and a pure heart. Can a person’s heart change? Yes. An impure heart can be purified by obeying the Gospel-Jam 4:8; 1 Pet 1:22. A lying heart can be corrected with sharpness-ref Titus 1:13. When we hear God’s Word, we respond accordingly. Many respond by saying, “I don’t want to hear it.” Some people come to a good Bible-teaching web site and click it off quickly—a wayside heart. Others are overjoyed to find this information Regarding a deceitful or lying heart: None considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding…He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?-ref Isa 44:19-20.

DO YOU WANT BIBLICAL PROOF THAT SATAN FILLS—note the word FILLS—your thoughts and heart with lies, and he can take God’s Word out of your heart?

• Acts 5:3 "Peter said, Ananias, why hath SATAN FILLED THINE HEART to lie to the Holy Ghost."
  
  Satan filled his heart with wrong thoughts. He died.
  
  
• Mark 4:15 "These are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts."
  
  If God’s Word is taken out of your heart, what is left is deceit and lies. There is your proof that Satan does fill your thoughts with deceit, and lies.

HAVE YOU EVER MISPLACED SOMETHING, AND WERE SURE SOMEONE TOOK IT, BUT YOU WERE WRONG? Then you felt badly that you falsely accused them, but you never asked for their forgiveness. Have you ever been positive someone said something, only to find they did not? Have you ever accused a minister of something that you thought he did wrong, but, in God’s eyes, he did not? Many of us have had thoughts of running away, suicide, even killing. We have had thoughts of bitterness, covetousness, hate, revenge, even stealing. Many are filled with sexual and adulterous thoughts. We have all been deceitful and lied. We have all cheated. We have all exaggerated things and bent the truth. Some do it more than others. At times, all of us have felt sorry for ourselves and felt rejected, like no one cares. It would not be this way, if Satan did not exist.

Have you ever found yourself talking to yourself, and you answered yourself back, and then wonder, What am I doing? There may be times when you need to command the demon to be gone in the name of Jesus, and the voice disappears. This is for Christians only.

God’s Word tells us that MUCH OF OUR WRONG THINKING IS NOT OUR OWN THOUGHTS, but is planted there from the demonic realm. It is like the demonic realm has a speaker in our brain. Our mind is bombarded with unfruitful thoughts. Now, this is hard to accept, because evil thoughts have been part of our life from childhood, and we always believed these were our own thoughts. It is nearly impossible to identify what thoughts are from the devil, when our heart agrees with them.

DID SATAN SPEAK TO JESUS AND TEMPT HIM? Yes. Did the devil speak to Jesus through people? Yes, many times-ref John 7:3-7; Matt 27:40-42. Did Satan speak to Peter and cause him to be afraid? Yes. Did Satan speak to Job through his wife? Yes-ref Job 2:9. Does the demonic realm speak to you and sometimes cause you to act like the devil? Yes.

LET US SAY YOU ARE A NEW CHRISTIAN, AND YOU GO TO A RESTAURANT. You know you should thank God. But, you look around and see people. Fear comes on you, so you don’t pray. Can you accept that Satan caused you to fear? Life is a test. You give tracts of worldly things to people and feel no fear. Then you wish to give a Gospel tract, but you get all tensed up. You have no problem talking to your relatives about worldly things. But you get afraid to talk about Jesus and ask them to repent. Some brother asks you to help him. Immediately, your emotions rise and you flare up with an excuse.

SATAN’S TACTICS—TWO MASTERS. Satan puts in the hearts of some—there is no God, but God says the fool has said in his heart, there is no God-Ps 14:1. Satan puts in the hearts of others that they can serve God and still do their own thing.

• Matt 6:24 It is written, "No Man can Serve Two Masters: for either he will Hate the one, and Love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other."

You cannot serve God and this world. You cannot follow self-interests and God, or money and God. You cannot follow sin and God. You cannot dwell in anger, rejection, or unforgiveness and follow God. You cannot serve “I want to” and God. Jesus is to be the center of your universe—not you.

On one side, SATAN’S THOUGHTS RAGE IN YOUR MIND. On the other there is GOD’S WORD. THIS IS THE BATTLE. The world has a hold on every person to some degree. You cannot love this world and the things of this world and have God’s love in you-1 John 2:15.

A PERSON’S MIND CAN BE POLLUTED from worldly information, desires and activities. Listen to 10 hours of world news, but read your Bible for 10 minutes. Then watch the backsliding begin. When a person’s heart is on worldly or unbiblical desires, Satan begins to fill a person’s thoughts with how to achieve that desire. Once a person sets his face toward his desire, he is facing away from Jesus. The rest becomes history. Often a person is unable to recover without the help of his shepherd, just like a sheep can’t get off its back without help. The secretive, hard-to-correct person is the kind of person that is meat for Satan. Nathan came to David to help him recover when he had gone astray, and, in another instance, Gad, the seer, came to help David recover. Are you so blind as to think you don’t need help, when David did?

 

IT TAKES FAITH TO FOLLOW JESUS, but no faith to follow the world. During this battle, there are times when you may feel like you are being torn apart. Why? This can happen, if you follow this world and God at the same time. God has given His Word to be our roadmap for survival. Don’t drink of both and try to serve two masters: yourself and God.

SATAN IS ABLE TO CREATE CIRCUMSTANCES DESIGNED TO DRAIN A PERSON’S FAITH OVER TIME.
Things breaking down may become a way of life. Every Christian, sooner or later, may have a thought from Satan that their heart agrees with saying, “I just want to give up. I am hungry, tired, run down, beat. “I JUST CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!” In faith, cast your cares upon Jesus, for He cares for you and loves you-ref 1 Pet 5:7. Consider what Jesus went through as he endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin or wrong thinking-ref Heb 12:3-4.

SATAN USES STRONGHOLDS. HE FINDS SOME WEAKNESS IN YOUR ARMOUR, a desire in your heart not in harmony with God’s Word. His trap may be where you have not denied yourself or repented. It looks innocent. Then he gives you thoughts of how to get your desire. Your heart agrees. You begin to go astray, and the rest is history. It is a trap for your soul. You don’t recognize it, because it is something you want. The devil was created full of wisdom. He hides his traps well. Far beyond the greatest chess player, Satan can plan many moves and counter moves ahead. He owns the chessboard. He can change the game anyway he wants. The only move you can make that will defeat him is obedience to the Bible. Then Satan magnifies the desire, until it becomes an obsession— something you just have to have, something you must do, or some place you must go. The pressure builds. It begins to occupy your mind, day and night. You may dream about it. Such a stronghold is not of the Lord. If you do not recognize and fight against this stronghold by obeying God’s Word, if this stronghold starts to mean more to you than obeying God, if it is like a drug and you need more—then you are in deep spiritual trouble. As you think on your desire and pursue it, you slowly become spiritually blind. You forget how you were in the Lord-ref Jam 1:24.

• 2 Cor 10:4-5"For the Weapons of our Warfare are Not Carnal, but Mighty through God to the Pulling Down of Strongholds"

Casting down imaginations (or thoughts), and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Note the word—thoughts. You must overcome the stronghold—the wrong thoughts which Satan put in your mind. If you do not overcome it, it will overcome you-ref 2 Pet 2:19. Many people’s stronghold is—I want, I will, I shall. Paul tells us: Phil 4:11-13…I have learned, in whatsoever state I am,…to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound:…to be full and to be hungry,…and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. A 7 day biblical fast with repentance can be an excellent way to break Satan’s strongholds. Remember, the battle is in your thoughts.

• James 4:7-8 God tells us, “Submit yourselves therefore to God” this means to submit yourself to God’s Word first..."

Then, you are to resist the devil. In other words, resist the wrong thinking from the devil, and he will flee from you. Next the Bible says to draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners. In other words, repent, then purify your hearts, ye doubleminded. This is done by obeying God’s Word. This is how to destroy Satan’s strongholds. But here is the problem—the stronghold he has snared you with may be something you want or something you do not want to give up. Thus, you are blinded to what Satan has done. Therefore, you don’t want to repent. Your desire remains. It clouds your mind. The fact that you don’t want to repent is proof you are heading toward your soul’s destruction. How blind and ignorant man is at recognizing Satan’s schemes to spiritually kill him. The key to identifying Satan’s strongholds is to have a pure and obedient heart that is full of the Word of God and a shepherd that can help you, if need be.

A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE, SOME PROBLEM YOU ARE FACING, SOME SPORT, HURTS, REJECTIONS, LOVING THIS WORLD, wanting a husband or wife, or children, pleasures or money can all become STRONGHOLDS that occupy your mind. Drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, or sex can be strongholds. You feel like you are in a pressure cooker. There is no longer any room for Jesus when you are like this, for where your heart is, there will your thoughts be. Television, the computer, texting, cell phones, world news, the stock market, wanting to be accepted—can all become obsessions. Are you feeding your mind with God’s holy Word or with trash? Are you surrounding yourself with God-fearing people or with people that are nice, but worldly and unsaved? You are commanded not to have fellowship with unbelievers-ref 2 Cor 6:14-17. If you do, you are in sin, and you open a door to be attacked by Satan, and he is ready.

ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN? DO YOU TITHE? IF NOT, WHY? ARE YOU AFRAID, BECAUSE YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO? Have you put yourself too far in debt? Are you spending money on worldly things like cell phones, cable TV, subscriptions to all sorts of stuff, etc., so you rob God of what you owe Him in order to pay for these things?-ref Mal 3:8. God doesn’t tell you not to tithe. He tells you to do it-Mal 3:8-10; Matt 23:23; Luke 11:42. * (FYI - SO4J-TV does not take a stance on Tithing)

SATAN ALSO USES THE TACTIC: THE GRASS IS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE.
Many of Satan’s traps are not sin in themselves. They are diversions. Some split your mind, so you become doubleminded. You begin thinking about—following Jesus another way, following some cause, some person, some dream. If you have a spiritually-minded minister (which is rare these days), he should recognize them and be able to correct you—IF YOU ARE humble, childlike, and will listen. Satan may give you evil thoughts toward your minister. Once Satan moves you away from the person God chose to watch for your soul, the rest is easy. You can hear God’s Word, but it goes right over your head, because of thoughts from Satan, or because you have become reprobate.

THE GRASS IS NOT GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE. The grass is only greener when you dwell in the will of God. The grass is really green for eternity in heaven with God. Is that what you want? Are you willing to fight the good fight of faith and deny yourself? SATAN KNOWS HOW TO TEMPT YOU.

A PERSON MAY SELL HIS SOUL FOR A PIECE OF BREAD, IF HE IS HUNGRY, OR IF IT WILL MAKE PEOPLE LOVE HIM, OR MAKE HIM FAMOUS. It all begins with lying thoughts from the devil that tell him he can have his cake and eat it, too. People think they can have God and follow their own ways.

MANY ARE NEVER CALLED TO BE PART OF GOD’S ARMY. Their hearts are too hard, too set in this world, too stubborn, prideful, and self-centered. Man cannot understand the things that be of God. They are hid from him-ref Eph 4:18. Only if God opens a person’s understanding can they understand-Luke 24:45; 1 John 5:20. The unsaved believe they can see, but they do not.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED BY GOD, DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE-2 Pet 1:10. The Rapture is on the doorstep. Those chosen by God—as worthy by the blood of the Lamb—will soon be with Him. Some will be terrified that they were left behind, because they shrank back from God’s calling-ref Matt 7:22; 25:11.

IF YOU RECEIVE CHRIST, SATAN IS GOING TO UNLEASH EVERY THOUGHT AND OBSTACLE POSSIBLE TO CAUSE YOU TO RETURN TO HIM, as you were before being saved. Satan desires to make you an unprofitable soldier in God’s army-ref Matt 25:30, and then to become a deserter. Traditionally, A PERSON THAT BECOMES A DESERTER IS SENTENCED TO DEATH, ESPECIALLY IN THE TIME OF COMBAT. Once a person says “yes” to Jesus, they have enlisted. They are immediately in spiritual combat and are called to fight against the forces of darkness. Can you now understand why a person who is in combat in God’s army and deserts that army, his fellow soldiers, and his assignment will be eternally punished with severe punishment? He shall be beaten with many stripes, and then cast into the fire-ref Luke 12:47.

ONLY THE FAITHFUL AND LOVING, THE HUMBLE, THOSE THAT FEAR GOD, THOSE WITH A GOOD HEART— will be accounted worthy to join Jesus in heaven. DO YOUR FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, YOUR SERVING GOD FAITHFULLY, WHERE HE CALLED YOU TO BE—TESTIFY IN YOUR FAVOR? Are you fighting the good fight of faith, which works by love, or are you full of excuses? Have you become like wilted grass or salt that lost its savor?-ref Luke 14:34.

PEOPLE THAT RECEIVE FORGIVENESS OF THEIR SINS BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, BUT THEN GO BACK TO WILLFUL SIN; they TRAMPLE THE SON OF GOD UNDER THEIR FEET, and count the blood of the covenant that sanctified them an unholy thing. They insult the Spirit of grace. Such a person’s future is: a certain fearful looking for of Judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God-ref Heb 10:26-31.

• Eccl 12:13-14 "Let us Hear the Conclusion of the Whole Matter: Fear God and Keep His Commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into Judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."

YOU ARE EITHER FOR GOD OR ARE NOT. Satan was created with everything he needed to deceive God’s angels. One-third of them deserted. This is deception.

God created man. Immediately, Satan moved in to deceive Adam and Eve. He succeeded. He also succeeded with Cain, but failed with Abel. Then, Satan put murderous thoughts into Cain’s mind. Cain’s heart agreed with the thoughts, and he killed Abel.

Through Satan’s deceptions, man became so sinful that God destroyed the world with a flood.

Satan failed to deceive Noah. From the creation of Adam and Eve until Satan’s final stand after the Millennium when God destroys him, God is testing each person to see whose heart is right toward Him.

Satan, with his delusionary powers, causes people to believe it is better to live for today than for tomorrow. For those that do, the result is—the lake of fire. A person loses their God-given purpose for living, when they desert God’s calling. Their protection from God is gone. They have willfully crossed over to the enemy’s side. Some that do this, go through agonizing illnesses, hardships, even death. Some do not. They chose Satan, the essence of evil—over God, the essence of love and mercy, but who will ever admit this?

During these latter days, up to the time of Armageddon, man will gradually become as sinful as before the flood and as Sodom and Gomorrah was. Their thoughts will become only evil continually. Then Jesus returns and rids the earth of Satan and his followers. Where will you be?

THE BIBLE TEACHING IN THIS GENERATION IS, AT BEST, LUKEWARM. Today’s Christians think they are rich and need nothing. They do not know that in God’s eyes they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked-ref Rev 3:14-22. They think they are saved, but are not.

Most of the preaching today is Watered-down, Self-Centered, lacking in Correction, Repentance, and Obedience. Scripture is seldom heard about Satan, the Judgments, Hell, and Prophecy; yet, Jesus and the Apostles covered these subjects in detail. They warned about the deceptive powers of Satan. Today’s preaching is the type that people’s itching ears want to hear. Preaching on denying oneself, picking up one’s cross, and following Jesus has all but disappeared in this time of many enjoyable things to do. Thus, it is easy for Satan to deceive most-ref Rev 3:14-22. It is written: Jer 50:6-My people…their shepherds have caused them to go astray.

Many Bible teachers in this sleeping church age use the words: “The Lord said, the Lord told me.” But what they speak is far from God’s Word. It is the deceit of the clergy’s heart and, sometimes, the desire for more money. This message does not exalt Satan, but tries to expose him. Jesus defeated him at the cross, but now each person must, through the power of the Holy Spirit, also fight the good fight of trust. Most do not fight at all. Others begin, but fall short. They do not finish the race, the battle God has laid out for them-1 Cor 9:24; Heb 12:1. Most perish. Yet, when have you ever heard any clergy say at a funeral this person went to hell? Christians greatly underestimate the devil. Their guard is down, when the fiery darts are flying-ref Eph 6:16.

 

NEVERTHELESS, MANY PEOPLE HAVE BIBLES, AND THE BIBLE IS NOT LUKEWARM. Friend, you have heard the truth. You probably have had thoughts contradicting what you have heard. God’s will for you is to follow Him and don’t go to the left or right. Satan wants you to believe you can go another way (that is—the way of compromise, the way of self), and it will be ok. Your heart will choose what you follow. The humble, broken, meek heart that fears God, loves the brethren, loves God, and believes God’s Word correctly should not go astray. All others will likely choose the wide gate and the broad way that leads to destruction-ref Matt 7:13.

I INVITE YOU, RIGHT NOW, TO REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST, Who is come in the flesh, as your Lord and Saviour. You may begin doing this by praying with me right now. If you are able, get down on your knees and say the following prayer, and mean it with all your heart.

Dear Jesus. Have mercy on me, a sinner. I repent. I believe You are the only begotten Son of God and died for my sins on the cross. Jesus, come into my heart. By faith, I receive You and give You my life. Help me to follow and obey You. Thank you, Lord, for saving me. I ask it in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

If you said that prayer and meant it, I suggest you find a good, Bible-teaching church and be baptized by full immersion in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost-Rom 6:4; Matt 28:19; Col 2:12. Begin today to read and study your Bible and not a little. Beware of the many thoughts you have that are contrary to God’s Word.

• Prov 3:7 "Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." And, lastly,
  
  
• Acts 3:26 "…God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities."

 

HEAVEN’S ROUTE IS THROUGH THE STRAIT GATE AND NARROW WAY. IT IS THE WAY OF OBEYING GOD, DENYING SELF, PICKING UP YOUR CROSS DAILY, AND FOLLOWING JESUS. It is the way of trusting in Jesus and being faithful to Him and His calling. This is difficult in these latter days. You cannot serve two masters. If you are not for God, you are against Him. Where does that leave you?

After reading or hearing this message, I believe most will admit, they have some repenting to do.
