50 Signs of a No Compromise Christian - Looks at the Signs, Fruit, & Evidences of a No Compromise Christian or True Believer from the Scriptures in God's Word. The Purpose is to: Provoke, Exhort, and Stir the Hearts of all those who call themselves a Believer in Jesus Christ— Provoking Believers to Biblically become More & More Conformed into the Image of Jesus Christ in all we: Say, Think, or Do (1 Cor 10:31, 2 Cor 3:16-17,18). This is an SO4J Bible Study about Sanctification & Holiness (1 Pet 1:14-17).

Please Note: SO4J-TV believes that we are Not Saved by Works - Eph 2:8-9 (Legalism), but our Faith is Proven by our Works (James 2:14-20, Matt 3:8). This is NOT a Bible Study on Obedience to Rules in order to be Saved, or about Legalism. If there is No Obedience to Gods Word (1 John 2:3-6, John 14:15) & one Continues In Sin (1 John 3:8-10) then we'll have to Face the Terrifying Consequences of Heb 10:26-31 which Jesus Warns us about in Matt 7:21-23 where MANY who Thought they were Saved will spend Eternity in Hell. This is about how a True Believer should Reflect the GLORIOUS IMAGE OF CHRIST in our Lives (2 Cor 3:18, 2 Cor 5:17, Matt 5:16), by living HOLY & CLEAN lives (1 Pet 1:14-15,16-17) for GOD'S GLORY (1 Cor 10:31)— and Obey God's Word out of a LOVE FOR JESUS (John 14:15,21,23-24, John 15:10,14, John 3:36, John 8:31, Luke 6:46).

SO4J-TV also understands that Christians are not perfect— they still Sin once in a while (so to speak - 1 John 2:1, 1 Cor 3:1-15). We want to reach out to those people who call themselves Christians— yet use the Grace of God as a License to Sin (Rom 6:1-23, Rom 6:15-16). We are concerned that there are MANY "Christians" (Matt 7:21-22, 23) who are NOT ready to face Jesus on Judgment Day (Heb 9:27). Our Aim is to provoke all of us to Examine our Faith with the God's Word (2 Cor 13:5), and make sure that we are Biblically Saved, and Ready to Face Jesus on Judgment Day (2 Cor 5:10).

What are the Signs, Fruit, or Evidences of a No Compromise Christian?

1 - They Do Not Conform to the Things of This World -
Their #1 Goal is to be Like Jesus

Rom 8:6 "To be CARNALLY (Worldly) MINDED is Death.."
Rom 12:2 "Do NOT be CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD (Don’t Copy the Behavior and Customs of this World), but let God TRANSFORM you into a New Person by changing the way you THINK. THEN you will learn to know GOD'S WILL FOR YOU, which is GOOD and PLEASING and PERFECT."
Rom 8:29-30 "For whom God Foreknew (God chose His people in advance), He also Predestined to be CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many Brothers and Sisters. Moreover whom He Predestined, these He also called (He called them to come to Him); whom He called, these He also justified (gave them right standing with Himself); and whom He justified, these He also Glorified (gave them His Glory)."
2 Cor 3:16-18 "But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, then the veil is taken away. Now, the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, He gives freedom. 2 - They Love the Lord Their God with All Their Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength

Mark 12:30 Jesus says, “You Must LOVE THE LORD Your God With All Your HEART, With All Your SOUL, With All Your MIND, and With All Your STRENGTH.”
Matt 10:37-39 Jesus says, “If you love your Father or Mother MORE than you love Me, you are NOT WORTHY OF BEING MINE; or if you love your Son or Daughter MORE than Me, you are NOT WORTHY OF BEING MINE If you REFUSE to take up your CROSS and FOLLOW ME, you are NOT WORTHY OF BEING MINE. If you CLING TO YOUR LIFE, you will LOSE it; but if you GIVE UP YOUR LIFE for Me, you will FIND IT."
1 Chron 28:9-10 "Worship and serve the Lord with your WHOLE HEART and with a willing mind. For the Lord sees EVERY HEART and UNDERSTANDS and KNOWS EVERY PLAN and THOUGHT. Titus 2:11-14 "For the Grace of God that brings Salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, DENYING UNGODLINESS AND WORLDLY LUSTS, we should live Soberly, Righteously, and Godly in the present age, looking for the blessed Hope and Glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works."
Titus 1:16 "Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and DISOBEDIENT, worthless for doing anything good."

I will NOT allow DECEIVERS to serve in my House, and LIARS will NOT stay in my Presence. My daily task will be to ferret out the WICKED and free the city of the Lord from their grip."
Phil 4:17-19 “With the Lord's authority let me say this: LIVE NO LONGER AS THE UNGODLY DO, for they are hopelessly confused. Their closed minds are full of darkness; they are far away from the life of God because they have shut their minds and hardened their hearts against him. They don't care anymore about right and wrong, and they have given themselves over to immoral ways. Their lives are filled with all kinds of impurity and greed."
John 15:18-21 Jesus says, "If the World hates you, remember that it hated me first. The World would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but YOU ARE NO LONGER PART OF THE WORLD. I chose you to come out of the World, so it hates you. Do you remember what I told you? ‘A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they Persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you. They will do all this to you because of me, for they have rejected the One who sent me."

1 Pet 1:14-17 "So you must live as God’s Obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be HOLY in EVERYTHING YOU DO, just as God who chose you is HOLY. For the Scriptures say, “You must be HOLY because I am HOLY.” And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will Judge or Reward you according to what you DO. Isa 35:8 "And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of HOLINESS. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there."

They Have Stopped Loving This Evil World. Fruits of the Flesh: Gal 5:19-20,21

Those who INDULGE IN SEXUAL SIN, or who Worship Idols, or COMMIT ADULTERY, or are male Prostitutes, or practice Homosexuality, or are Thieves, or Greedy people, or Drunkards, or are Abusive, or Cheat people—NONE OF THESE will INHERIT the Kingdom of God."
1 Cor 15:33-34 "BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD CHARACTER. Come to your senses and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don't even know God."
2 John 1:10-11 "If anyone comes to you and does Not bring this Teaching (Teach the Truth about Christ), do NOT Receive him INTO YOUR HOUSE, and do NOT give him a Greeting (any kind of encouragement); for the one who gives him a Greeting (encourages him) PARTICIPATES IN HIS EVIL DEEDS."

How can a Believer be a partner with an unbeliever? And what union can there be between God's temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God..."
Prov 3:7 "Don't be impressed with your own Wisdom. Instead, FEAR THE LORD and TURN YOUR BACK ON EVIL."

7 - They Do Not Compromise with the World by Listening to Worldly Music -
They are True Worshippers of God

John 4:23-24 Jesus says, "But the time is coming and is already here when TRUE WORSHIPERS will worship the Father in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. The Father is looking for ANYONE who will WORSHIP HIM THAT WAY. For God is Spirit, so those who Worship Him must worship in SPIRIT and in TRUTH."
Phil 5:19 “Then you will Sing Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual Songs among yourselves, making MUSIC TO THE LORD IN YOUR HEARTS.”
1 Cor 10:31 "Whatever you Eat or Drink or WHATEVER YOU DO, you must DO all for the GLORY OF GOD."

9 - They Do Not Partner Up with Unbelievers and Those who Compromise
Their Walk with Jesus

How can a Believer be a partner with an unbeliever? And what union can there be between God's temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God..."
1 Cor 15:33-34 "BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD CHARACTER. Come to your senses and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don't even know God."

10 - They Pursue Pure and Godly Friendships that Inspire Them to be More
Like Jesus

1 Tim 6:11-12 "Run from all these evil things, and follow what is RIGHT AND GOOD. PURSUE A GODLY LIFE, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight for what we believe. Hold tightly to the Eternal Life that God has given you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses."
2 Tim 2:22 "Run from anything that stimulates youthful lust. FOLLOW ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO DO RIGHT. PURSUE FAITH and LOVE and PEACE, and ENJOY COMPANIONSHIP of those who Call on the Lord with PURE HEARTS.”

11 - They Display Christ-Likeness in their Thought-Life & Attitudes

Phil 4:21-24 "Since you have heard all about Him and have learned the truth that is in Jesus, throw off your old evil nature and your former way of life, which is rotten through and through, full of lust and deception. Instead, there must be a spiritual renewal of your THOUGHTS AND ATTITUDES. You must DISPLAY A NEW NATURE because you are a new person, created in GOD'S LIKENESS— RIGHTEOUS, HOLY, AND TRUE."
Col 3:1-3 "Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits at God's right hand in the place of honor and power. Let HEAVEN FILL YOUR THOUGHTS. Do not think only about things down here on earth. For you died when Christ died, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God."
Phil 2:5-11 "Your ATTITUDE should be the same that Christ Jesus had. Though He was God, He did not demand and cling to his rights as God. He made Himself nothing; He took the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form. And in human form He obediently humbled himself even further by dying a criminal's death on a cross. 12 - They are Humble and Have Child-Like Faith

Matt 18:3-4 Jesus says, “Anyone who becomes as HUMBLE AS THIS LITTLE CHILD is the Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Luke 18:9-14 Then Jesus told this story to some who had great self-confidence and scorned everyone else: "Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a dishonest tax collector. The proud Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: 'I thank you, God, that I am not a sinner like everyone else, especially like that tax collector over there! For I never cheat, I don't sin, I don't commit adultery, I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.' But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, 'O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.' I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For the proud will be humbled, but the HUMBLE WILL BE HONORED."
Col 2:8 “Don't let anyone lead you ASTRAY with Empty Philosophy and High-Sounding Nonsense that come from HUMAN THINKING FROM THE EVIL POWERS OF THIS WORLD, and not Christ."

13 - They Refuse Lukewarmness - Having "One Foot in God's Word,
and One Foot in the World"

Rev 3:15-20 Jesus says, "I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish you were one or the other! But since you are like LUKEWARM water, I will spit you out of my mouth! You say, `I am rich. I have everything I want. I don't need a thing!' And you don't realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. And also buy white garments so you will not be shamed by your nakedness. And buy ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see. I am the one who corrects and disciplines everyone I love. Be diligent and turn from your indifference. Look! Here I stand at the door and knock. If you hear me calling and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal as friends."
Rev 3:1-3 Jesus says, "I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive—but you are dead. Now wake up! Strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is at the point of death. Your deeds are far from right in the sight of God. Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly and turn to me again. Unless you do, I will come upon you suddenly, as unexpected as a thief."

14 - They Seek to Please the Lord Through Good Deeds & Having a Servant's Heart

Matt 25:35-36 Jesus says, “For I was Hungry, and you Fed me. I was Thirsty and you gave me a Drink. I was a Stranger, and you Invited me into your Home. I was Naked, and you gave me Clothing. I was Sick, and you Cared for me. I was in Prison, and you Visited me…”
Mark 10:42-45 So Jesus called them (His Disciples) together and said, “You know that the Rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their Authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a Leader among you must be your SERVANT and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came NOT TO BE SERVED but to SERVE OTHERS and to GIVE HIS LIFE AS A RANSON FOR MANY.”
Luke 22:26-27 Jesus says, "But among you, those who are the GREATEST SHOULD TAKE THE LOWEST RANK, and the LEADER SHOULD BE LIKE A SERVANT. Normally the Master sits at the table and is served by his Servants. But not here! For I AM YOUR SERVANT."
Heb 10:24 "Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of LOVE and GOOD DEEDS."
Psalm 112:9 "They give generously to those in need. Their GOOD DEEDS will never be forgotten. They will have influence and honor."
Titus 2:7 "And you yourself must be an example to them by doing GOOD DEEDS of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching."
Matt 23:11 Jesus says, "The GREATEST among you must be a SERVANT."

15 - They Know that Financial Gain Does Not Mean Godliness

2 Cor 8:9 "You know how full of love and kindness our Lord Jesus Christ was. Though He was VERY RICH, yet for your sakes HE BECAME POOR, so that by HIS POVERTY HE COULD MAKE YOU RICH (spiritually speaking)."
1 Cor 1:26 "Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that FEW OF YOU WERE WISE IN THE WORLD'S EYES, OR POWERFUL, OR WEALTHY WHEN GOD CALLED YOU."
2 Cor 6:10 "Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are POOR, but we give SPIRITUAL RICHES to others. We OWN NOTHING, and yet we have EVERYTHING."
2 Cor 8:2 "Though they have been going through much trouble and hard times, their wonderful joy and DEEP POVERTY have overflowed in rich GENEROSITY."
Heb 13:5 "STAY AWAY FROM THE LOVE OF MONEY; BE SATISFIED WITH WHAT YOU HAVE. For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never forsake you."
James 1:9-11 "CHRISTIANS WHO ARE POOR SHOULD BE GLAD, FOR GOD HAS HONORED THEM. And those who are RICH should be glad, for God has humbled them. They will fade away like a flower in the field. The hot sun rises and dries up the grass; the flower withers, and its beauty fades away. So also, WEALTHY PEOPLE WILL FADE AWAY WITH ALL OF THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS."
James 2:1:5 "Listen to me, dear Brothers and Sisters. HASN'T GOD CHOSEN THE POOR IN THIS WORLD TO RICH IN FAITH? AREN'T THEY THE ONES WHO WILL INHERIT THE KINGDOM HE PROMISED TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM? AND YET, YOU INSULT THE POOR MAN! ISN'T IT THE RICH WHO OPPRESS YOU AND DRAG YOU INTO COURT? Aren't they the ones who slander Jesus Christ, whose noble name you bear?"
Rev 2:9 Jesus says, "I know about your SUFFERING AND YOUR POVERTY—BUT YOU ARE RICH!"
Rev 3:17-18 Jesus talking to the Church - "You say, 'I am Rich. I have everything I want. I don't need a thing!' Prov 30:7-9 Solomon Prayed, "Give me neither POVERTY NOR RICHES! Give me just ENOUGH TO SATISFY MY NEEDS. For IF I GROW RICH, I MAY DENY YOU and say, "Who is the LORD?" And if I am too POOR, I may steal and thus insult God's Holy name."
Matt 6:33 Jesus says, "But SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things shall be added to you."
Matt 19:21 Jesus told him (a rich young ruler), "If you want to be perfect, go and SELL ALL YOU HAVE AND GIVE THE MONEY TO THE POOR, AND YOU WILL HAVE TREASURE IN HEAVEN. Then come, follow Me."
Luke 12:21 Jesus says, "Yes, a person is a FOOL to store up EARTHLY WEALTH but NOT have a RICH RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD."
Deut 8:2-4 "Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for forty years, HUMBLING YOU AND TESTING YOU TO PROVE YOUR CHARACTER, and to find out whether or not you would REALLY OBEY HIS COMMANDS. Yes, he HUMBLED YOU by LETTING YOU GO HUNGRY AND THEN FEEDING YOU WITH MANNA, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He DID IT TO TEACH YOU THAT PEOPLE NEED MORE THAN BREAD FOR THEIR LIFE; real life comes by FEEDING ON EVERY WORD OF THE LORD. For all these Forty Years your CLOTHES DIDN'T WEAR OUT, and your FEET DIDN'T BLISTER OR SWELL."
Matt 6:9-13 Jesus says, "Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your Name be Honored. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done here on Earth, just as it is in heaven. GIVE US OUR FOOD FOR TODAY, and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us. And don't let us yield to Temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One."
Luke 6:2 Then Jesus turned to his Disciples and said, "GOD BLESS YOU WHO ARE POOR, for the Kingdom of God is given to you."
Psalms 37:16-19 It is better to be GODLY AND HAVE LITTLE than to be EVIL AND RICH. For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but THE LORD TAKES CARE OF THE GODLY. DAY BY DAY THE LORD TAKES CARE OF THE INNOCENT, and they will RECEIVE AN INHERITANCE THAT LASTS FOREVER. They will not be DISGRACED IN HARD TIMES; even in FAMINE they will have MORE than enough."

16 - They Seek First God's Kingdom, Not Worldly Wealth & Possessions -
They are Content

Matt 6:33 Jesus says, “SEEK FIRST the Kingdom of God and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Phil 4:11 "NOT that I was ever in NEED, for I have LEARNED how to be CONTENT WITH WHATEVER I HAVE. FOR I KNOW HOW TO LIVE ON ALMOST NOTHING OR WITH EVERYTHING. I have learned the SECRET OF LIVING IN EVERY SITUATION, whether it is with a FULL STOMACH OR EMPTY, WITH PLENTY OR LITTLE. (13) FOR I CAN DO EVERYTHING THROUGH CHRIST, WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH."
Matt 19:21 Jesus told him, "If you want to be Perfect (No Compromise), GO AND SELL ALL YOU HAVE AND GIVE THE MONEY TO THE POOR, AND YOU WILL HAVE TREASURE IN HEAVEN. THEN COME, FOLLOW ME."
Matt 6:19-21 Jesus says, "DON'T STORE UP TREASURES HERE ON THIS EARTH, where they can be eaten by Moths and get Rusty, and where Thieves break in and steal. Store your Treasures in Heaven, where they will never become Moth-Eaten or Rusty and where they will be safe from Thieves. Wherever your Treasure is, there your Heart and Thoughts will also be."
1 Tim 6:8-10 "So if we have ENOUGH FOOD and CLOTHING, LET US BE CONTENT. But people who long to be RICH FALL INTO TEMPTATION and are TRAPPED BY MANY FOOLISH and HARMFUL DESIRES that plunge them into RUIN AND DESTRUCTION. For the LOVE OF MONEY is the ROOT of ALL KINDS OF EVIL. And some people, CRAVING MONEY, have WANDERED from the TRUE FAITH and pierced themselves with MANY SORROWS."
Matt 6:31-32 Jesus says,"So don’t WORRY about these things, saying, ‘What will we EAT? What will we DRINK? What will we WEAR?’ THESE THINGS DOMINATE THE THOUGHTS OF UNBELIEVERS, but your Heavenly Father ALREADY KNOW ALL YOUR NEEDS."

17 - They'd Rather Suffer & Be Poor & Not Compromise with the World
Than Be Rich & Famous

Heb 11:24-26 “It was by Faith that Moses, when he grew up, REFUSED to be treated as the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He CHOSE TO SHARE THE OPPRESSION OF GOD'S PEOPLE instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin. He thought it was BETTER TO SUFFER FOR THE SAKE OF THE MESSIAH THAN TO OWN THE TREASURES OF EGYPT, for he was looking ahead to the great reward that God would give him.”
Luke 16:19-31 (This Scripture Jesus tells a Story of a: Rich Man went to Hell; the Poor Beggar went to Heaven. The Rich Man lived a life of Luxury and ease, but he later lost his soul in Hell).
Luke 9:25 Jesus says, "How do you benefit if you gain the WHOLE WORLD but LOSE OR FORFEIT YOUR OWN SOUL in the process?"
2 Cor 6:10 “Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. WE ARE POOR, but we give SPIRITUAL RICHES to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.”
Acts 20:33 Paul says, “I have NEVER COVETED anyone’s SILVER or GOLD or FINE CLOTHES."

18 - They are Generous & are Givers - Whether They are Poor or Have Much

2 Cor 9:7 "You must each decide in your heart how much to GIVE. And don’t GIVE reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who GIVES CHEERFULLY.”
2 Cor 9:13 “You will be Glorifying God through your GENEROUS GIFTS. For your GENEROSITY to them will prove that you are Obedient to the Good News of Christ.”
2 Cor 8:1-3 “Now I want you to know, dear Brothers and Sisters, what God in his kindness has done through the Churches in Macedonia. Though they have been going through MUCH TROUBLE (BEING TESTED BY MANY TROUBLES) and HARD TIMES, their WONDERFUL JOY and DEEP POVERTY have overflowed in RICH GENEROSITY. For I can testify that they GAVE NOT ONLY what they could AFFORD BUT FAR MORE. And they did it of their own FREE WILL.”
Phil 4:15-18 "As you know, you Philippians were the only ones who gave me FINANCIAL HELP when I first brought you the Good News and then traveled on from Macedonia. No other Church did this. Even when I was in Thessalonica you sent help more than once. I don’t say this because I want a Gift from you. Rather, I want you to receive a reward for your kindness. At the moment I have all I need—and more! I am GENEROUSLY SUPPLIED WITH THE GIFTS YOU SENT ME with Epaphroditus. They are a SWEET-SMELLING SACRIFICE that is ACCEPTABLE and PLEASING TO GOD."
Mark 12:41-44 Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money. Many RICH people put in LARE AMOUNTS. Then a POOR WIDOW came and dropped in TWO SMALL COINS. Jesus called his Disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this POOR WIDOW has GIVEN MORE THAN ALL THE OTHERS who are making contributions. For they gave a TINY PART OF THEIR SURPLUS, but she, POOR as she is, has GIVEN EVERYTHING SHE HAD TO LIVE ON.”
Luke 16:11-12 Jesus says, "And if you are UNTRUSTWORTHY ABOUT WORLDLY WEALTH, who will TRUST YOU with the TRUE RICHES OF HEAVEN? And if you are NOT FAITHFUL with other people’s things, why should you be TRUSTED WITH THINGS of your own?"

19 - They are Surrendering All to Follow Jesus -They are Taking Up Their Cross Daily

Gal 2:20 "My OLD SELF has been CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST. It is no longer I WHO LIVE, but CHRIST LIVES IN ME. So I live in this Earthly Body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
Luke 14:26-27 Jesus says, “If you want to be My disciple, you must hate everyone else by comparison—your Father and Mother, Wife and Children, Brothers and Sisters—yes, even your own Life. Otherwise, you CANNOT BE MY DISCIPLE. And if you do NOT CARRY YOUR OWN CROSS AND FOLLOW ME , you CANNOT BE MY DISCIPLE."
Luke 14:33 Jesus Says, "No one can become MY DISCIPLE without giving up EVERYTHING for Me."
Matt 16:24-27 Jesus said to the disciples, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must put aside your SELFISH AMBITION, SHOULDER YOUR CROSS, AND FOLLOW ME. If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life. And how do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul in the process? Is anything worth more than your soul? For I, the Son of Man, will come in the glory of my Father with his angels and will judge all people according to their deeds.”
Matt 19:29 Jesus says, “And everyone who has GIVEN UP HOUSES or BROTHERS or SISTERS or FATHER or MOTHER or CHILDREN or PROPERTY, for My sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will have Eternal Life.”
Luke 9:23-27 Jesus said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him DENY HIMSELF, and TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY, and FOLLOW ME. For whoever desires to save his life will LOSE IT, but whoever LOSES HIS LIFE MY SAKE WILL SAVE IT. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? For whoever is Ashamed of Me and My Words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels."
Matt 10:37-39 Jesus says, “If you love your Father or Mother MORE than you love Me, you are NOT WORTHY OF BEING MINE; or if you love your Son or Daughter MORE than you love Me, you are NOT WORTHY OF BEING MINE. If you REFUSE to take up your CROSS and FOLLOW ME, you are NOT WORTHY OF BEING MINE. If you CLING TO YOUR LIFE, you will LOSE it; but if you GIVE UP YOUR LIFE for Me, you will FIND IT."
Mark 8:34-38 Jesus says, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him DENY HIMSELF, and TAKE UP HIS CROSS, AND FOLLOW ME. For whoever desires to save his life WILL LOSE IT, but whoever LOSES HIS LIFE FOR MY SAKE AND THE GOSPEL'S SAKE WILL SAVE IT. Matt 19:21 Jesus told him, "If you want to be Perfect, GO AND SELL ALL YOU HAVE AND GIVE THE MONEY TO THE POOR, AND YOU WILL HAVE TREASURE IN HEAVEN. THEN COME, FOLLOW ME."

20 - They've Stopped Practicing Sin - and When They Do Sin There is Deep Sorrow

Heb 10:26-39 "If we DELIBERATELY CONTINUE SINNING AFTER we have received KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, there is NO longer any sacrifice that will cover THESE SINS. There is only the TERRIBLE EXPECTATION OF GOD'S JUDGMENT AND THE RAGING FIRE that will consume his enemies. For anyone who REFUSED TO OBEY the Law of Moses (The Old Testament) was PUT TO DEATH WITHOUT MERCY on the Testimony of two or three witnesses. Just think how much WORSE THE PUNISHMENT WILL BE FOR (New Testament People) THOSE WHO HAVE TRAMPLED ON THE SON OF GOD, and have treated the BLOOD OF THE COVENANT, which made us HOLY, as if it were COMMON AND UNHOLY, and have INSULTED AND DISDAINED THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO BRINGS GOD'S MERCY TO US. For we know the one who said, “I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The Lord will Judge His own people.” IT IS A TERRIBLE THING TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE LIVING GOD."
Matt 3:8 "PROVE BY THE WAY YOU LIVE that you have REPENTED of your SINS & TURNED TO GOD."
1 John 3:6-10 ""So if we continue to live in Him, WE WON'T SIN EITHER. But those who KEEP ON SINNING have never known him or understood who he is. Dear children, don't let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it is because they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. When people KEEP ON SINNING, IT SHOWS THAT THEY BELONG TO THE DEVIL, who has been SINNING since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family do NOT MAKE A PRACTICE OF SINNING, because God’s life is in them. So they CAN'T KEEP ON SINNING, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God."
1 John 2:1 "But IF you do SIN, there is someone to plead for you before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who pleases God completely."

Gal 5:19-21 "When you follow the desires of your SINFUL NATURE, the results are very clear: SEXUAL IMMORALITY, IMPURITY, LUSTFUL PLEASURES, IDOLATRY, SORCERY, HOSTILITY, QUARRELING, QUARRELING, JEALOUSY, OUTBURSTS OF ANGER, SELFISH AMBITION, DISSENSION, DIVISION, ENVY, DRUNKENNESS, WILD PARTIES, and other SINS LIKE THESE. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God."

21 - They Speak Out & Warn People of God's Coming Judgments,
and Preach the Good News

2 Tim 4:2 "PREACH THE WORD OF GOD. Be PERSISTENT, whether the time is FAVORABLE OR NOT. Patiently Correct, Rebuke, and Encourage your people with Good Teaching."
2 Pet 2:5 "God did not spare the ancient world—except for Noah and his family of seven. NOAH WARNED THE WORLD OF GOD'S RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT. Then God destroyed the whole World of Ungodly people with a Vast Flood.”
John 16:8 Jesus says, "And when He (HOLY SPIRIT) comes, He will CONVICT THE WORLD OF IT'S SIN, and of GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS, and of the COMING JUDGMENT."
Luke 19:10 Jesus says "For the Son of Man came to SEEK AND TO SAVE THE LOST."
2 Cor 5:11 "It is because we know this SOLEMN FEAR OF THE LORD THAT WE WORK HARD TO PERSUADE OTHERS."

Heb 3:15 "But never forget the WARNING: "Today you must listen to his voice. Don't harden your hearts against him as Israel did when they rebelled."

Jude 1:7 "And don't forget the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with Sexual Immorality and every kind of Sexual Perversion. Those Cities were destroyed by Fire and are a WARNING of the Eternal Fire that will Punish all who are Evil."
Jer 18:11 "Go and WARN all Judah and Jerusalem. Say to them, 'This is what the Lord says: I am planning disaster against you instead of good. So turn from your evil ways, each of you, and do what is right."
Jer 26:2-3 The Lord said, "Stand out in front of the Temple of the Lord, and make an announcement to the people who have come there to worship from all over Judah. Give them my entire message; include every word. Perhaps they will listen and turn from their evil ways. Then I will be able to withhold the disaster I am ready to pour out on them because of their sins.” and if you will NOT LISTEN TO MY SERVANTS, THE PROPHETS— for I sent them again and again to WARN YOU, but you would NOT listen to them.”
Ezek 3:17-21 "Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for Israel. Whenever you receive a message from me, pass it on to the people immediately. If I WARN the wicked, saying, 'You are under the penalty of death,' but you fail to deliver the WARNING, THEY WILL DIE IN THEIR SINS. And I will hold you responsible, demanding your blood for theirs. If you warn them and they KEEP ON SINNING AND REFUSE TO REPENT, THEY WILL DIE IN THEIR SINS. But you will have saved your life because you did what you were told to do. If GOOD PEOPLE TURN BAD and DON'T LISTEN TO MY WARNING, they will die. If you did not WARN them of the CONSEQUENCES, then they will DIE IN THEIR SINS. Their previous Good Deeds won't help them, and I will hold you responsible, demanding your blood for theirs. But if you WARN THEM and they REPENT, THEY WILL LIVE, and you will have SAVED YOUR OWN LIFE, TOO."
Ezek 33:7-9 The Lord said, "Now, son of man, I am making you a WATCHMAN FOR THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL. Therefore, listen to what I say and WARN them for me. If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to WARN them about changing their ways, then they will die in their sins, but I will hold you responsible for their deaths. But if you WARN them to Repent and they don't Repent, they will die in their sins, but you will not be held responsible.”
Acts 18:9-10 "One night the LORD JESUS spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, 'Don't be afraid! SPEAK OUT! DON'T BE SILENT! For I am with you, and no one will harm you because many people here in this city belong to me."
Rom 1:8 "Your FAITH IN GOD is becoming known throughout the world."

Matt 10:32-33 Jesus says, "If anyone ACKNOWLEDGES ME PUBLICLY HERE ON EARTH, I will openly acknowledge that person before my Father in heaven. But if anyone denies me here on earth, I will deny that person before my Father in heaven.”
Luke 4:18 Jesus says, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has Anointed Me to PREACH THE GOSPEL (Good News) to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives (that the captives will be released) And recovery of sight to the blind (that the blind will see), To set at liberty those who are oppressed."
Rom 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who Believes."
Acts 20:24 "My life is worth NOTHING to me unless I use it for FINISHING THE WORK ASSIGNED ME BY THE LORD JESUS—THE WORK OF TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about the wonderful GRACE OF GOD."

22 - They Suffer Persecution & Beatings for Standing Up for Jesus

The World thought that Jesus was Crazy. Are we willing to be thought of as crazy, and to suffer in this same way as Jesus, John the Baptist, Peter, Paul, etc. did for us? Would we be okay with people slandering us, beating us, spitting on us, and being stoned, and thrown in prison? American Christianity is so lukewarm that when you DO take a stand to preach (with the Love of Jesus) Repentance, Judgment, and Righteousness – you are seen as really strange in many people’s eyes – when it’s simply the Truth, and the same Gospel Message that Jesus preached!

2 Tim 3:12 “Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will SUFFER PERSECUTION.”
John 15:21 Jesus says, ”The people of the world will HATE you because you belong to me, for they don't know God who sent Me.”
John 10:20 "What some people were saying about Jesus, "He has a demon, or HE'S CRAZY. Why listen to a man like that?"
Mark 6:27 Re: John the Baptist— "So he immediately sent an Executioner to the Prison to CUT OFF JOHN'S HEAD and bring it to him. The soldier BEHEADED JOHN in the Prison."

2 Cor 11:23-30 "Are they servants of Christ? I know I sound like a madman, but I have served him far more! I have worked harder, been put in PRISON more often, been WHIPPED times without number, and faced DEATH again and again. FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES the Jewish leaders gave me THIRTY-NINE LASHES. THREE TIMES I was BEATEN WITH RODS. Once I was STONED. THREE TIMES I was SHIPWRECKED. Once I spent a WHOLE NIGHT AND A DAY ADRIFT AT SEA. I have traveled on many LONG JOURNEYS. I have FACED DANGER FROM RIVERS AND FROM ROBBERS. I have FACED DANGER FROM MY OWN PEOPLE, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have FACED DANGER IN THE CITIES, IN THE DESERTS, AND ON THE SEAS. And I have FACED DANGER from men who CLAIM to be BELIEVERS BUT ARE NOT.I have worked HARD AND LONG, enduring MANY SLEEPLESS NIGHTS. I have been HUNGRY and THIRSTY and have OFTEN GONE WITHOUT FOOD. I have SHIVERED IN THE COLD, without enough clothing to keep me warm. Then, besides all this, I have the DAILY BURDEN OF MY CONCERN FOR ALL THE CHURCHES. Who is weak without my feeling that weakness? Who is led astray, and I do not burn with anger? If I must boast, I would rather boast about the things that show how weak I am."
2 Cor 6:4-10 "In everything we do, we show that we are True Ministers of God. We Patiently ENDURE TROUBLES AND HARDSHIPS AND CALAMITIES OF EVERY KIND. We have been BEATEN, been put in PRISON, faced ANGRY MOBS, WORKED TO EXHAUSTION,ENDURED SLEEPLESS NIGHTS, and GONE WITHOUT FOOD. We prove ourselves by our Purity, our Understanding, our Patience, our Kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us, and by our sincere love. We Faithfully Preach the Truth. God’s power is Working in us. We use the Weapons of Righteousness in the Right hand for Attack and the left hand for Defense. We serve God whether people HONOR US OR DESPISE US, whether they SLANDER US OR PRAISE US. We are HONEST,but they call us IMPOSTERS. We are IGNORED, even though we are WELL KNOWN. We live CLOSE TO DEATH, but we are still alive. We have been BEATEN, but we have NOT BEEN KILLED. Our HEARTS ACHE, but we always have JOY. We are POOR, but we give SPIRITUAL RICHES TO OTHERS. We OWN NOTHER, and yet we have EVERYTHING (Eternal Life..)."

Heb 10:32-34 “Don't ever forget those early days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant TERRIBLE SUFFERING. Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule and were BEATEN, and sometimes you helped others who were suffering the same things. You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail. When all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew you had better things waiting for you in Eternity."

Acts 16:22-26 "A mob quickly formed against Paul and Silas, and the City Officials ordered them STRIPPED and BEATEN with WOODEN RODS. They were SEVERELY BEATEN, and then they were THROWN INTO PRISON. The Jailer was ordered to make sure they didn’t Escape. So the Jailer put them into the INNER DUNGEON and CLAMPED THEIR FEET in the STOCKS. Around Midnight Paul & Silas were Praying & Singing Hymns to God, and the other Prisoners were listening. Suddenly, there was a Massive Earthquake, and the Prison was shaken to its Foundations. All the Doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every Prisoner fell off!..."

23 - They will Love People and Do Good to Them - Especially to Other Christians

1 Pet 1:22 "Now you can have SINCERE LOVE FOR EACH OTHER as Brothers and Sisters because you were cleansed from your sins when you accepted the truth of the Good News. So see to it that you really do love each other intensely with all your hearts."
John 13:35 Jesus says, “Your LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER will prove to the world that you are My Disciples."
Phil 1:9 "I Pray that your LOVE FOR EACH OTHER will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in your knowledge and understanding."
Phil 2:1-5 "Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and sympathetic? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, LOVING ONE ANOTHER, and WORKING TOGETHER with ONE HEART and PURPOSE. Don't be selfish; don't live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself. Don't think only about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and what they are doing. Your attitude should be the same that Christ Jesus had."
1 Pet 2:17 "Show respect for Everyone. LOVE YOUR CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS. Fear God. Show respect for the King."
1 John 4:7-8 "Beloved, let us LOVE ONE ANOTHER: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God—for God is love."
Gal 6:10 "Whenever we have the OPPORTUNITY, we should DO GOOD TO EVERYONE, especially to our CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS."
John 15:13 Jesus says, "The Greatest LOVE is shown when people lay down their lives for their FRIENDS."

24 - They Obey - God's Commandments, His Word, and the Lord Jesus Christ

1 John 2:3-6 "We can be sure that we know him if we OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t OBEY GOD’S COMMANDMENTS, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who OBEY GOD’S WORD truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did."
2 Thess 1:7-9 "And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing Judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to OBEY THE GOOD NEWS OF OUR LORD JESUS. They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.”
Rom 2:6-10 "He will Judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on DOING GOOD, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his Anger and Wrath and wrath on those who live for themselves, who REFUSE to OBEY THE TRUTH and instead live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on DOING what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be Glory and Honor and Peace from God for all who DO GOOD —for the Jew first and also for the Gentile."
John 14:15 Jesus says, “If you love me, OBEY MY COMMANDMENTS."
John 14:21-26 Jesus says, "Those who ACCEPT MY COMMANDMENTS and OBEY THEM are the ones who love Me. And because they love Me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal Myself to each of them. Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but the other disciple with that name) said to Him, “Lord, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us and NOT to the World at large?" Jesus replied, “All who love Me will DO WHAT I SAY. My Father will love them, and WE will come and make OUR home with each of them. Anyone who does NOT love Me will NOT OBEY ME. And remember, My Words are not My own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent Me. I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. But when the Father sends the Advocate as My representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you."
John 15:14 Jesus says, "You are My friends if you do what I COMMAND."
John 15:10 Jesus says "When you OBEY MY COMMANDMENTS, you remain in my love, just as I OBEY MY FATHER’S COMMANDMENTS and remain in His love."
1 Peter 1:14-16 "So you must live as GOD’S OBEDIENT children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must BE HOLY IN EVERYTHING YOU DO, just as God who chose you is Holy. For the Scriptures say, “YOU MUST BE HOLY BECAUSE I AM HOLY.”
Heb 12:14 "Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be HOLY; WITHOUT HOLINESS NO ONE WILL SEE THE LORD."
Matt 5:19 Jesus says, “So if you ignore the least COMMANDMENT and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who OBEY’S GOD’S LAWS & TEACHES THEM will be called GREAT in the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Matt 7:21-23 Jesus says, “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER in heaven will enter. On Judgment Day many will say to Me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in Your name and cast out demons in Your name and performed many miracles in Your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who 's BREAK GOD’S LAWS."
Luke 6:46-49 Jesus says, “So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t DO WHAT I SAY (obey)? I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to Me, listens to My teaching, and then follows it. It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against the house, it stands firm because it is well built. But anyone who hears and does NOT OBEY is like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.”
Matt 7:24-27 Jesus says, “Anyone who listens to My teaching and FOLLOWS (DOES & ACTS UPON THEM) is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. But anyone who hears My teaching and ignores it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”
Rev 2:26 Jesus says, "To all who are victorious, who OBEY ME to the very end, to them I will give authority over all the nations."
Matt 12:50 Jesus says, "Anyone who DOES THE WILL of my Father in heaven is My Brother and Sister and Mother!”
Mark 3:35 Jesus says, "Anyone who DOES GOD’s WILL is My Brother and Sister and Mother.”
Matt 15:3 Jesus replied, “Why do you, by your traditions, violate the direct COMMANDMENTS of God?"
Matt 15:9 Jesus says, "Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as COMMANDS from God."
Eccl 12:13-14 "Fear God and OBEY HIS COMMANDS, for this is everyone’s duty. God will Judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad."
Titus 1:16 "Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and DISOBEDIENT, worthless for doing anything good."

25 - They are Doers of the Word, not Merely Hearers— Faith without Works is Dead

James 1:22 "Be DOERS OF THE WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
James 2:18 "Now someone may argue, Some people have faith; others have good deeds. I say, "I can't see your Faith if you don't have GOOD DEEDS, but I will show you my Faith through my GOOD DEEDS."
James 2:20 "Fool! When will you ever learn that faith that does not result in GOOD DEEDS is useless?"
James 2:26 "Faith is dead without GOOD DEEDS."
James 2:14-20 "What good is it, Dear Brothers and Sisters, if you say you have FAITH but don’t show it by your ACTIONS? Can that kind of FAITH save anyone? Suppose you see a Brother or Sister who has NO Food or Clothing, and you say, “Good-Bye and have a Good Day; Stay Warm and Eat well”—but then you DON'T give that person any FOOD or CLOTHING. What GOOD DOES THAT DO? So you see, FAITH by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces GOOD DEEDS, it is DEAD and USELESS. Now someone may argue, “Some people have FAITH; others have GOOD DEEDS.” But I say, “How can you show me your FAITH if you DON’T HAVE GOOD DEEDS? I will show you my FAITH by my GOOD DEEDS.” You say you have FAITH, for you BELIEVE THAT THERE IS ONE GOD. Good for you! EVEN THE DEMONS BELIEVE THIS, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that FAITH WITHOUT GOOD DEEDS IS USELESS?“
John 5:28-29 Jesus says, "Don’t be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God’s Son, and they will rise again. Those who have DONE GOOD will rise to experience Eternal Life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience Judgment."

Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.’ For you ignore God’s law and substitute your own tradition.” Then He said, “You skillfully sidestep God’s law in order to hold on to your own tradition...so you cancel the word of God in order to hand down your own tradition.”
Mark 7:20-23 Jesus says, “Out of a person’s Heart, come Evil Thoughts, Sexual Immorality, Theft, Murder, Adultery, Greed, Wickedness, Deceit, Lustful Desires, Envy, Slander, Pride, and Foolishness. All these Evil things come from within; they are what Defile you and make you unacceptable to God.”
Amos 5:21-24 "I hate all your show and pretense—the hypocrisy of your religious festivals and solemn assemblies. I will not accept your burnt offerings and grain offerings. I won't even notice all your choice peace offerings. Away with your hymns of praise! They are only noise to my ears. I will not listen to your music, no matter how lovely it is. *Matt 5:19 Jesus says, "So if you ignore (break) the least (smallest) Commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who OBEYS GOD'S LAWS (God's Word) and TEACHES them will be called GREAT in the Kingdom of Heaven."

* John MacArthur's Commentary on Matt 5:19 is this: "The consequence of Practicing or Teaching disobedience of any of God's Word is to be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven (1 Cor. 3:15). Determining rank in the Kingdom of Heaven is entirely God's prerogative (Matt.20:23), and Jesus declares that He will hold those in lowest esteem who hold His Word in low esteem. There is no impunity (free from punishment) for Believers who: Disobey, Discredit, or Belittle God's Law (God's Word)—see 2 Cor. 5:10. That Jesus does not refer to loss of salvation is clear from the fact, that though offenders will be called least, they will still be in the Kingdom of Heaven. The positive result is that whoever keeps and teaches God's Word, he shall be called GREAT in the Kingdom of Heaven. Here again Jesus mentions the two aspects of doing and teaching. AN SO4J-TV FYI Re: Matt 5:19 - There are over 1,050 commands given in the New Testament - "Husband's love your wives."...etc. Let us not minimize any of God's Word, but instead let us strive to run our race (with God's Grace) in such a way that we highly esteem and obey all of God's Word, and then live, obey, & teach them to all.

When he arrived there, HE PROVED TO BE OF GREAT BENEFIT TO THOSE WHO, BY GOD'S GRACE, HAD BELIEVED. He REFUTED THE JEWS WITH POWERFUL ARGUMENTS IN PUBLIC DEBATE. USING THE SCRIPTURES, HE EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT JESUS WAS THE MESSIAH."
Acts 6:2-4 "So the Twelve called a meeting of all the Believers. They said, “We Apostles should spend our time TEACHING THE WORD OF GOD, not running a food program. And so, Brothers, select seven men who are well respected and are full of the Spirit and Wisdom. We will give them this responsibility. Then we Apostles can spend our time in PRAYER AND TEACHING THE WORD.”
Acts 6:8-10 "Stephen, a man FULL OF GOD'S GRACE AND POWER, performed amazing miracles and signs among the people. But one day some MEN FROM THE SYNAGOGUE of Freed Slaves, as it was called, STARTED TO DEBATE WITH HIM. They were Jews from Cyrene, Alexandria, Cilicia, and the province of Asia. NONE OF THEM COULD STAND AGAINST THE WISDOM AND THE SPIRIT WITH WHICH STEPHEN SPOKE."

32 - They are Winning Their Battle Against Sin & Keeping the Full Armor of God on!
Enduring Hardships, Sufferings, and Trials thru Christ!

Eph 6:10-20 “Finally, my Brethren, be STRONG IN THE LORD and in HIS MIGHTY POWER. Put on the FULL ARMOR OF GOD, so that you will be able to STAND FIRM against the SCHEMES and TRICKS OF THE DEVIL. For our STRUGGLE (wrestle) is NOT against People made FLESH and BLOOD, but against the EVIL RULERS, against the POWERS, against the WORLD FORCES OF THIS DARKNESS, against the SPIRITUAL FORCES OF WICKEDNESS in the HEAVENLY PLACES. Therefore, take up the FULL ARMOR OF GOD, so that you will be able to RESIST IN THE EVIL DAY, and having done EVERYTHING, to STAND FIRM (in God's Word). STAND FIRM therefore, putting on the STURDY BELT OF TRUTH (Be Truthful), and having put on the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (Living Righteous through Obedience to His Word). For SHOES, put on the PEACE that comes from the GOOD NEWS (we have Peace with God now thru the Gospel), so that you will be fully Prepared. In addition to all those, Take up the SHIELD OF FAITH with which you will be able to STOP ALL the FIERY DARTS of the DEVIL (Believe God’s Word over your Emotions, when FIREY DARTS of Temptation, & Lusts come your way). And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION (the Hope you now have of Salvation), and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF GOD. PRAY in the SPIRIT (Eph 5:22-23) at ALL TIMES and on EVERY OCCASION. STAY ALERT and be PERSISTENT IN YOUR PRAYERS for ALL BELIEVERS EVERYWHERE. And PRAY for me, too. Ask God to give me the RIGHT WORDS so I can BOLDLY EXPLAIN GOD’S MYSTERIOUS PLAN that the GOOD NEWS is for Jews and Gentiles alike. 33 - They are Ready, Waiting, and Eagerly Anticipating the Soon Return

34 - They Love God's Commandments & His Word, Reading it Daily & Memorizing it

Psalms 1:1-2 "Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the LAW OF THE LORD (God's Word - His Commandments), And in His law he meditates day and night."
Psalms 119:9 "How can a young person stay Pure? By OBEYING YOUR WORD."
Psalms 19:7-11 "The LAW OF THE LORD IS PERFECT, REVIVING THE SOUL. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The Commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are clear, giving insight to life. Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The Laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair. 35 - They Make Use of Every Opportunity to Do Good & to Preach the Good News

Col 4:3 "Don't forget to pray for us, too, that God will give us many OPPORTUNITIES to preach about His secret plan—that Christ is also for you Gentiles. That is why I am here in chains."
Eph 5:15-16 "So be careful how you live, not as fools but as those who are wise. Make the most of EVERY OPPORTUNITY FOR DOING GOOD IN THESE EVIL DAYS."
Gal 6:10 "Whenever we have the OPPORTUNITY, we should do good to everyone, especially to our Christian Brothers and Sisters."

Mark 13:9 Jesus says, "But when these things begin to happen, watch out! You will be handed over to the courts and beaten in the synagogues. You will be accused before governors and kings of being my followers. This will be your OPPORTUNITY to tell them about ME."
Luke 21:13-16 Jesus says, "This will be your OPPORTUNITY to tell them about Me. So don't worry about how to answer the charges against you, for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply! Even those closest to you—your parents, brothers, relatives, and friends—will betray you. And some of you will be killed..."
John 11:15 Jesus said, "And for your sake, I am glad I wasn't there, because this will give you another OPPORTUNITY to believe in Me..."
Acts 3:12 "Peter saw his OPPORTUNITY and addressed the crowd. "People of Israel," he said, "what is so astounding about this? And why look at us as though we had made this man walk by our own power and godliness?"
Acts 5:31 "Then God put him in the place of honor at his right hand as Prince and Savior. He did this to give the people of Israel an OPPORTUNITY to turn from their sins and turn to God so their sins would be forgiven."
Prov 10:5 "A wise youth works hard all summer; a youth who sleeps away the hour of OPPORTUNITY brings shame."
Zeph 2:2 "Gather while there is still time, before Judgment begins and your OPPORTUNITY is blown away like chaff. ACT NOW, before the fierce fury of the Lord falls and the terrible day of the Lord's anger begins."

36 - They PRODUCE MUCH FRUIT For Jesus—They're PRODUCTIVE with the
GOSPEL & are GODLY

Matt 3:8 (Luke 3:8 too) John the Baptist—"Prove by the way you live that you have Repented of your Sins (BEAR FRUIT WORTHY OF REPENTANCE) and turned to God."
Matt 13:18-23 Jesus explained, "Now here is the explanation of the story I told about the Farmer sowing grain (Seed is the Good News): The seed that fell on the hard path represents those who hear the Good News about the Kingdom and don't understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches the seed (Good News) away from their hearts. The rocky soil represents those who hear the message (Good News) and receive it with joy. But like young plants in such soil, their roots don't go very deep. At first they get along fine, but they wilt as soon as they have problems or are persecuted because they believe the word. The thorny ground represents those who hear and accept the Good News, but all too quickly the message (Good News)is crowded out by the cares of this life and the lure of wealth, so no crop is produced. THE GOOD SOIL REPRESENTS THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO TRULY ACCEPT GOD'S MESSAGE (Good News) AND PRODUCE A HUGE HARVEST— THIRTY, SIXTY, AND EVEN A HUNDRED TIMES AS MUCH AS HAD BEEN PLANTED."
Mark 4:8 Jesus says, "Still other seed fell on FERTILE SOIL AND PRODUCED A CROP THAT WAS THIRTY, SIXTY, AND EVEN A HUNDRED TIMES AS MUCH AS HAD BEEN PLANTED."
Mark 4:20 Jesus says, "But the GOOD SOIL represents those who hear and accept God's message and produce a huge harvest — THIRTY, SIXTY, AND EVEN A HUNDRED TIMES AS MUCH AS HAD BEEN PLANTED."
Luke 8:8 Jesus says, "Still other seed fell on FERTILE SOIL. This SEED GREW AND PRODUCED A CROP ONE HUNDRED TIMES AS MUCH AS HAD BEEN PLANTED." When he had said this, he called out, "Anyone who is willing to hear should listen and understand!"
Luke 8:15 Jesus says, "But the GOOD SOIL represents HONEST, GOOD-HEARTED PEOPLE WHO HEAR GOD'S MESSAGE, CLING TO IT, AND STEADILY PRODUCE A HUGE HARVEST."
John 15:4-5 Jesus says,"Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful apart from Me. Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. THOSE WHO REMAIN IN ME, AND I IN THEM, WILL PRODUCE MUCH FRUIT. FOR APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING."
John 15:8 Jesus says,"MY TRUE DISCIPLES PRODUCE MUCH FRUIT. THIS BRINGS GREAT GLORY TO MY FATHER."
John 15:16 Jesus says, "You didn't choose Me. I chose you. I appointed you to GO AND PRODUCE FRUIT THAT WILL LAST, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using My Name."
Rom 7:4-6 "The law no longer holds you in its power, because you died to its power when you died with Christ on the cross. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, you can PRODUCE GOOD FRUIT, that is, GOOD DEEDS FOR GOD. When we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced sinful deeds, resulting in death. But now we have been released from the law, for we died with Christ, and we are no longer captive to its power. Now we can really serve God, not in the old way by obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way, by the Spirit."
Gal 5:22-26 "But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, HE WILL PRODUCE THIS KIND OF FRUIT IN US: LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, AND SELF-CONTROL. Here there is no conflict with the law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another."
James 3:18 "And those who are peacemakers will PLANT SEEDS OF PEACE AND REAP A HARVEST OF GOODNESS."

John 4:35-38 Jesus says, "Look around you! Vast fields are Ripening all around us and are ready now for the Harvest. The Harvesters are paid Good Wages, and THE FRUIT THEY HARVEST IS PEOPLE BROUGHT TO ETERNAL LIFE. What Joy awaits both the Planter and the Harvester alike! You know the saying, 'One person plants and someone else harvests.' And it's true. I sent you to Harvest where you didn't plant; others had already done the Work, and you will gather the Harvest."
1 Cor 3:7-9 "The ones who do the Planting or Watering aren't important, but God is important because He is the one who makes the SEED GROW. The one who Plants and the one who Waters WORK AS A TEAM WITH THE SAME PURPOSE. Yet they will be rewarded individually, according to their own hard work. We work together as Partners who belong to God. You are God's field, God's building—not ours."

PEOPLE WHO PRODUCE— BAD FRUIT, NO FRUIT, NO CROP
WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD, BUT WILL PERISH IN HELL

Gal 5:19-21 "When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, your lives will PRODUCE THESE EVIL RESULTS: sexual immorality, impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, idolatry, participation in demonic activities, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, divisions, the feeling that everyone is wrong except those in your own little group, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other kinds of sin. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God."
Gal 6:7 "Don't be misled. Remember that you can't ignore God and get away with it. You will always REAP WHAT YOU SOW! Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful desires will HARVEST THE CONSEQUENCES OF DECAY AND DEATH. But those who live to please the Spirit will HARVEST EVERLASTING LIFE FROM THE SPIRIT."
Matt 3:10 Jesus says, "Yes, every tree THAT DOES NOT PRODUCE GOOD FRUIT WILL BE CHOPPED DOWN AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE (Hell)."
John 15:2 Jesus says,"He cuts off every branch of Mine that DOESN'T PRODUCE FRUIT, and HE PRUNES THE BRANCHES THAT DO BEAR FRUIT SO THEY WILL PRODUCE EVEN MORE."
Col 1:10 "Walk in a manner Worthy of the Lord, to please Him in ALL respects, BEARING FRUIT in every GOOD WORK and increasing in the Knowledge of God"
Matt 13:22 Jesus says, "The Thorny Ground represents those who hear and accept the Good News, but all too quickly the message (Good News) is crowded (choked) out by the cares of this life and the lure of wealth, so NO CROP IS PRODUCED."

37 - They Are Co-Heirs with Christ; And They Share In The Sufferings of Jesus by
"Crucifying Their Flesh"

Gal 2:20 "I have been CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by Faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
1 Pet 4:1 "So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same Attitude he had, and be ready to SUFFER, too. For if you are WILLING TO SUFFER FOR CHRIST, you have decided to STOP SINNING."
Rom 8:14-21 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God."
1 Pet 4:13 "Instead, be very glad—because these Trials will make you partners with Christ in His SUFFERING, and afterward you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory when it is displayed to all the world."
1 Pet 2:21-22 "This SUFFERING is all part of what God has called you to. Christ, who SUFFERED for you, is your example. Follow in His steps. He never sinned, and He never deceived anyone."

Phil 3:10-11 "As a result, I can really know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I can learn what it means to SUFFER with him, SHARING IN HIS DEATH, so that, somehow, I can experience the Resurrection from the Dead!"

38 - They Understand God's Eternal Purposes for His Holy People
vs This Temporal Evil World

John 14:2-3 "There are many rooms in my Father's home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am."
Dan 7:14-27 Daniel's Vision& Prophecy -"He (The Messiah - Jesus) was given authority, honor, and royal power over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal—it will never end. His Kingdom will never be destroyed....But in the end, the Holy people of the Most High will be given the kingdom, and they will rule forever and ever."...Then the time arrived for the Holy people to take over the kingdom....Then the sovereignty, power, and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be given to the Holy people of the Most High. They will rule forever, and all rulers will serve and obey them."
1 John 2:17 "And this WORLD IS FADING AWAY, along with everything it craves. But if you do the will of God, you will live forever."
2 Cor 4:16-18 "That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our PRESENT TROUBLES ARE QUITE SMALL AND WON'T LAST VERY LONG. Yet they produce for us an IMMEASURABLY GREAT GLORY THAT WILL LAST FOREVER! So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever."
Rev 21:1-8 "Then I saw a NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH, for the OLD HEAVEN AND THE OLD EARTH HAD DISAPPEARED. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the Holy city, the New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a Beautiful Bride prepared for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, "Look, the home of God is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the OLD WORLD and its evils are gone forever." Such things are EARTHLY, UNSPIRITUAL, AND DEMONIC. 16 For wherever there is JEALOUSY AND SELFISH AMBITION, THERE YOU WILL FIND DISORDER AND EVIL OF EVERY KIND. But the Wisdom from above is first of all PURE. It is also PEACE LOVING, GENTLE AT ALL TIMES, AND WILLING TO YIELD TO OTHERS. It is FULL OF MERCY AND GOOD DEEDS. It shows NO FAVORITISM AND IS ALWAYS SINCERE. And those who are PEACEMAKERS WILL PLANT SEEDS OF PEACE AND REAP A HARVEST OF RIGHTEOUSNESS."

Matt 5:3-48 Jesus says, "God Blesses those who are Poor and realize their Need for Him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. God Blesses those who Mourn, for they will be Comforted. God Blesses those who are Humble, for they will Inherit the whole Earth. God blesses those who Hunger and Thirst for Justice, for they will be Satisfied. God Blesses those who are Merciful, for they will be shown Mercy. God Blesses those whose Hearts are Pure, for they will see God. GOD BLESS THOSE WHO WORK FOR PEACE (PEACEMAKERS), FOR THEY WILL BE CALLED THE CHILDREN OF GOD. God blesses those who are Persecuted for doing Right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. God Blesses you when people Mock you and Persecute you and Lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my Followers. Be Happy about it! Be very glad! For a Great Reward awaits you in Heaven. And remember, the ancient Prophets were Persecuted in the same way."

48 - They Acknowledge, Embrace, & Obey God's Sovereign Will for Their Lives

James 4:13-17 "Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. WE WILL do Business there and make a profit.” How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the Morning Fog (a Vapor)—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. What you ought to say is, “IF THE LORD WANTS US TO, WE WILL LIVE AND DO THIS OR THAT.” Otherwise you are Boasting about your OWN PLANS, and all such Boasting is EVIL. Remember, it is SIN to know what you ought to do and then not do it."
Acts 18:21 "As he left, however, he said, “I will come back later, GOD WILLING. Then he set sail from Ephesus."
Rom 1:10 "One of the things I always Pray for is the Opportunity, GOD WILLING, to come at last to see you."

49 - They are Not Prejudiced - They Show No Partiality to the:
Rich, Poor, Skin Color, Race, Etc.

James 2:1-8 "My dear brothers and sisters, HOW CAN YOU CLAIM YOU HAVE FAITH in our Glorious Lord Jesus Christ IF YOU FAVOR SOME PEOPLE OVER OTHERS? For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in FANCY CLOTHES AND EXPENSIVE JEWELRY, AND ANOTHER COMES IN WHO IS POOR AND DRESSED IN DIRTY CLOTHES. If you GIVE SPECIAL ATTENTION and a GOOD SEAT to the RICH PERSON, but you say to the POOR ONE, “You can STAND over there, or else SIT on the floor”—well, DOESN'T THIS DISCRIMINATION SHOW THAT YOUR JUDGMENTS ARE GUIDED BY EVIL MOTIVES? Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God CHOSEN THE POOR IN THIS WORLD TO BE RICH IN FAITH? Aren’t they the ones who will INHERIT THE KINGDOM HE PROMISED TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM? But you dishonor the POOR! Isn’t it the RICH WHO OPPRESS YOU and drag you into court? Aren’t they the ones who SLANDER JESUS CHRIST, whose noble name you bear? Yes indeed, it is good when you OBEY THE ROYAL LAW as found in the Scriptures: “LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”
Acts 10:35 Peter said: "I most certainly understand now that God is NOT ONE TO SHOW PARTIALITY, BUT IN EVERY NATION THE MAN WHO FEARS HIM AND DOES WHAT IS RIGHT, IS WELCOME TO HIM."
