Jesus is Coming back to Earth someday Soon, to Judgethe World (2 Thess 1:7-11), and then to set up His Millennial— 1,000 Year Reign of Jesus Christ Kingdom on this Earth. His Return is called the Second Coming of Christ (Rev 19:11-21). Before Jesus comes back, there are a series of big events that will take place to usher in His Return. To start off we will talk about the Signs of the Times that we are living in right now.
Jesus says that the World, right before He Returns, will be much like it was in the Days of Noah & the Days of Lot (Luke 17:26-33, Matt 24:37-39)— the People will be very: Prideful, Unloving, Boastful, Materialistic (2 Tim 3:1-5), Indifferent (Rev 3:15-20) and Mocking Jesus (2 Peter 3:3-14,9) & the Things of God, and Sin will be rampant everywhere (Matt 24:12). There will be a great time of Apostasy (1 Tim 4:1, 2 Tim 4:3-5) & Spiritual Deception on the Earth (Matt 24:11). Apostasy is a departure & falling away from Faith in Jesus & God's Word.
- Luke 17:26-33 Jesus says, "When the Son of Man returns, the World will be like the people were in Noah's Day. In those days before the Flood, the people enjoyed Banquets and Parties and Weddings right up to the time Noah entered his Ark and the Flood came to destroy them all. And the world will be as it was in the Days of Lot. People went about their Daily Business—Eating and Drinking, Buying and Selling, Farming and Building—until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then Fire and Burning Sulfur rained down from Heaven and destroyed them all. Yes, it will be 'Business As Usual' right up to the hour when the Son of Man is revealed...Remember what happened to Lot’s Wife! If you Cling to your Life, you will Lose it, and if you let your Life go, you will Save it."
- Matt 24:37-39 Jesus says, “When the Son of Man (Jesus) returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s Day. In those Days before the flood, the people were enjoying Banquets and Parties and Weddings right up to the time Noah entered his Ark. People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the Flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.”
As we approach the Rapture & the Second Coming of Christ, Jesus says in these below Scriptures that we will see an ever increasing amount of these items below listed (Matt 24:5-8). These Events will be like Birth Pangs, and will become more & more Frequent, and will occur with Greater Force & Agony as we get closer to the Rapture & the Second Coming of Christ (Matt 24:8).

In order for End Times Bible Prophecy to be Fulfilled, and for Jesus to come back, Israel needs to be in place as a Nation again, and Jerusalem as a City. Israel did become a Nation again on May 14,1948 & Jerusalem did once again become it's City again on June 7, 1967during the 6 Day War!

Before Jesus comes back to Earth, He is going to Rapture the Church— up into the Clouds (Rapture means to be "Caught Up"). He is going to Rapture True Repentant Believers (1 Thess 4:16-18,5:1-11, 1 Cor 15:51-54, Matt 25:13), and take them Off this Ungodly Earth, and transform their Bodies— and it will happen in the Twinkling of an Eye (1 Cor 15:51-54).
- 1 Thess 4:13-18 "And now, dear Brothers and Sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the BELIEVERS who have died so you will NOT Grieve like people who have No Hope. For since we believe that Jesus Died and was Raised to Life Again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the Believers who have Died. We tell you this Directly from the Lord: We who are still Living when the Lord Returns will Not meet Him ahead of those who have Died. (1 Thess 4:16) "For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven with a Commanding Shout, with the Voice of the Archangel, and with the Trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have Died will Rise from their Graves. Then, Together with them, we who are still Alive and Remain on the Earth will be CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS (like Jesus) to meet the Lord in the Air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. - 1 Cor 15:51-56 "But let me reveal to you a Wonderful Secret. We will NOT ALL ALL DIE, but we will all be Transformed! It will happen in a Moment, in the TWINKLING OF AN EYE (blink of an eye), when the last Trumpet is Blown. For when the Trumpet Sounds, those who have Died will be Raised to live Forever. And we who are Living will Also be Transformed. For our Dying Bodies must be Transformed into Bodies that will Never Die; our Mortal Bodies must be Transformed into Iimmortal Bodies. Then, when our Dying Bodies have been Transformed into Bodies that will Never Die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
- Matt 25:13 Jesus says, “So you, too, must keep Watch! For you do NOT know the DAY or HOUR of My Return."
There will most likely be very FEW Raptured (Few in comparison to the 6 Billion alive today), just like what happened in Noah's Day, and in the Days of Lot, Few were Saved. The Bible indicates that the Rapture should happen sometime before what is called the Tribulation (Pre-Trib). FYI— There are a number of Believers who also believe that the Rapture could happen right before the GREAT Tribulation
(i.e. Pre-Wrath). We will talk about the Tribulation Period below.
No matter when the exact Arrival Time is for Christ to take His Church, Jesus told us to BE READY AT ALL TIMES.
- Matt 24:44 Jesus says, "You also must be Ready ALL the time, for the Son of Man (JESUS) will come when LEAST expected."
- Luke 12:40 Jesus says, "You also must be Ready ALL the time, for the Son of Man (JESUS) will come when LEAST expected.”
We are to be ready by living Holy & Godly Lives (2 Peter 3:11-12,13-14). God's Holy people living on the Earth at this time will be "Caught Up" to be with the Lord Jesus (John 14:1-4) in the Air, and receive their New Glorified Bodies (Phil 3:20-21, 1 Cor 15:51-54). They will then be: Rewarded in Heaven at the Judgment Seat of Christ (1 Cor 3:10-15, 2 Cor 5:10, Matt 25:14-30)— and be with Jesus at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Rev 19:7-10). They will later return with Jesus on White Horses (Rev 19:14) at the Second Coming of Christ (Rev 19:11-18). They will then Rule & Reign with Jesus FOREVER!
Ruling & Reigning with Jesus Scriptures: Rev 20:6,1:6,3:21,2:26-27, Matt 19:28,13:43, Dan 12:3,7:18,27,13-14
Also before Jesus comes back to Earth, there will be a time of Tribulation (Matt 24:21) upon the Earth (Matt 24:29-31, Mark 13:24-27, Luke 21:25-28). The Tribulation, many believe, is supposed to be for 7 Years (Dan 9:24-25,26-27)...though some have questions regarding the specifics number of days of the first half. The Bible however does make it clear that the Great Tribulation is to be for 3 1/2 years, it should be the Second Half of these years. The Tribulation involves a Series of Horrific Judgments (Rev 8:7-13, 16:4, Rev 9:1-11, Rev 16:3-21) called the: Seal (Rev 6), Trumpet (Rev 8,9 11:15), & Bowl Judgments (Rev 15 & Rev 16). These Judgments will be poured out upon the Earth, and all Hell is going to break loose on Earth, so to speak. Demons who have been locked up in the Bottomless Pit (2 Peter 2:4-11) will be let loose from the Pit to run rampant all over the Earth (Rev 9:1-11). They are given power to Torment the people who belong to this World, and those who end up Worshiping the Antichrist & who took his "Mark" on their Hand or Forehead, which we talk about below. Satan will be Cast down to Earth— out of Heaven, by the Angel Michael, and other Angels— and he is thrown down to Earth, in fury, as Satan now knows that his time is Short (Rev 12:7-8,9).
The Tribulation Period is mainly for the Jews— it is known in the KJV Bible as: "Jacob's (Israel's) Trouble" in: Jer 30:7-23. God is Punishing Israel, but he is also getting them Prepared to receive Jesus as their Messiah & King (Rev 1:7). The Tribulation Period is also to Judge the Rebellious people of this World (Jude 1:15)— for having Rebelled against God's Word, and Jesus.
After Punishing Israel, God will show His great Faithfulness to Israel, near the close of the Tribulation. Many Jews who are alive at the Time of Christ will look to Jesus as their Messiah & King, and will enter the Millennial Kingdom to Repopulate the Earth.

During this time Period, a Powerful Demonic Evil Leader will arise to Power, he is called the Antichrist (2 Thess 2:1-12, 1 John 2:18, Rev 13:1-8). He will be the Head of a 10 Nation Confederacy (Dan 2:42, 44, Dan 7:7,24, Rev 12:3, 13:1, 17:12,16) that will Rule the World during the Tribulation.The Antichrist will have been given Authority & Power, by God, to do anything he wants for 42 months, which is 3 1/2 Years (Rev 13:5). Another Evil Person called the False Prophet (Rev 13:12-14) will work with the Antichrist to deceive MANY, with Great Signs & Wonders too. The Antichrist will order everyone to Worship him as a God, and also Worship a Statue of him that comes to life (Rev 13:15, 2 Thess 2:4). The Antichrist will also order every person (rich or poor) to be given a Mark ("666") on their Right Hand or Forehead. You will NOT be able to Buy, or Sell anything without this Mark (Rev 13:16-18). The Antichrist will Persecute Christians (those who come to Faith in Jesus during the Tribulation). He will Behead & Martyr these MULTITUDES of Believers— those who would NOT: Worship him or his Statue, or take his Mark (Rev 6:9-11, 7:9, 7:14, Rev 20:4-6).
OTHER END TIMES EVENTS
- TWO WITNESSES OR TWO PROPHETS:
(Rev 11:1-14) - Two Godly Prophets will be sent by God to Evangelize in Jerusalem. They will be "Sealed" or Protected by God to Preach the Gospel in Jerusalem. These Two will be a special witness to Israel, and they will perform Great Signs & Wonders, such as have the Power to:
- Turn Water into Blood (Rev 11:6 - like Moses did in the O.T. - Exod 7:19-25)
- Destroy people with Fire (Rev 11:5 - like Elijah did in the O.T. - 2 Kings 1:10-15)
They will eventually be Killed (Rev 11:7), and their Bodies will lie in the Streets of Jerusalem. The Whole World will stare at their Bodies, and No one will be permitted to Bury them (Rev 11:9). The People of this World will Celebrate their Death (Rev 11:8-10). But after 3 1/2 days God will breath Life into them, and they will be Supernaturally Resurrected from the Dead to Heaven (Rev 11:11).
- THESE TWO PROPHETS OR WITNESSES WILL MOST LIKELY BE:
ELIJAH & MOSES - Both appeared with Jesus: (Matt 17:1-13). Mal 4:5-6.
ELIJAH & ENOCH - (2 Kings 2:11, Heb 11:5) These Two men Never died, and Heb 9:27 says "It is Appointed for men to die once, but after this the Judgment." That is why many think it could be the Two of them. However, somday, the Rapture is going to occur, and those people who are alive at the time of Christ's Return will not see their Physical Bodies die either.
It could be Two People we have never heard of before.
- 144,000 JEWS WILL BE SAVED, SEALED, & WILL EVANGELIZE:
A Special Remnant of Jews will be Saved during the Tribulation. A "Seal" will be placed on their Forehead to Protect them from the Antichrist (Rev 7:1–8, Rev 14:1–5, Rom 11:26). They will Preach the Gospel so that many of the Jews can come to Repentance & Faith in Jesus Christ.
- FALSE HARLOT CHURCH:
While Jesus has Raptured the "Bride of Christ" that is Holy & Pure "without spot or wrinkle" (Eph 5:27). The Antichrist will have his "Whore" or "Prostitute" which is the False Church (Ecclesiastical Babylon) to help aid him in all his deception (Rev 17:1-6), with it's ungodly influence & power. It will eventually be destroyed with fire (Rev 17:16).
- TIMES OF THE GENTILES:
Luke 21:24 Jesus says, "They will be killed by the sword or sent away as Captives to all the Nations of the World. And Jerusalem will be TRAMPLED DOWN BY THE GENTILES until the PERIOD OF THE GENTILES COMES TO AN END (FULFILLED)."
The "Times of the Gentiles" refers to the time period in 586 B.C. when the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar, a Gentile Nation, took over Jerusalem This Gentile domination of Israel has lasted from then through the Destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. and it will continue on through the Tribulation Period. During the Great Tribulation Period (3 1/2 years of horrific Judgments on the Earth), the Antichrist will Control & Persecute the Jewish People. This you could say is the climax of the "Times of the Gentiles." When Jesus comes back, many Jewish people will be saved, and will enter His Kingdom. From that time on, Jerusalem will never be subjected to any more domination from the Gentiles. This will end the "Time of the Gentiles."
Battle of Armageddon occurs at the End of the Tribulation. And Three Deceiving Demonic Spirits that look like Frogs, and have the power to work Miracles, will go out to all the Rulers of the World to gather them together for a Battle against the Lord Jesus, on the Great Judgment Day of God Almighty.
The Demons will gather the Nations of the World together to a place which in Hebrew is called: Har-Magedon (or Megiddo). It is a huge piece of land 60 Miles North of Israel. They are there to fight against the Lord Jesus! This Battle is called the Battle of Armageddon, and it will last for one day. (Zech 14:1-3)
- Rev 16:12-16 "Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the Great Euphrates River, and it dried up so that the Kings from the east could march their armies toward the west without hindrance."
- Rev 16:13-16 "And I saw THREE EVIL SPIRITS that looked like FROGS leap from the Mouths of the Dragon (Satan), the Beast (Antichrist), and the False Prophet. They are Demonic Spirits who work Miracles and go out to all the Rulers of the World to gather them for BATTLE AGAINST THE LORD on that Great Judgment Day of God the Almighty... And the Demonic Spirits gathered all the Rulers and their Armies to a place with the Hebrew name ARMAGEDDON."
- So the Armies of the World will have been led Supernaturally & Demonically to the land in Israel to do Battle against the Lord Jesus.

Jesus will come down through the clouds with the Saints (True Believers throughout the Ages).
- First thing on the Lord's agenda is to capture the Antichrist & False Prophet. They will immediately by will be captured and thrown alive into the Lake of Fire forever.
- The Armies that were risen up against him will be killed by the Words spoken out of Jesus' mouth!
- That will be the End of the Battle of Armageddon!
- Rev 19:11-21 "Then I saw Heaven opened, and a White Horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he Judges fairly and wages a Rrighteous War. His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A Name was Written on him that no one understood except himself. He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the Fierce Wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords.Then I saw an Angel standing in the sun, shouting to the vultures flying high in the sky: “Come! Gather together for the great banquet God has prepared. Come and eat the flesh of kings, generals, and strong warriors; of horses and their riders; and of all humanity, both free and slave, small and great.” Then I saw the Beast (Antichrist) and the Kings of the World and their Armies gathered together to fight against the one sitting on the Horse and his Army. And the Beast (Antichrist) was captured, and with him the False Prophet who did mighty Miracles on behalf of the beast—Miracles that deceived all who had accepted the Mark of the Beast and who worshiped his Statue. Both the Beast and his False prophet were thrown alive into the Fiery Lake of Burning Sulfur. Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies."
The Second Coming of Christ, as spoken about above, is Jesus coming back to Earth as "King of Kings and Lord of Lords"...this is called the Second Coming of Christ.
- Matt 24:-35 "And then at last, the Sign that the Son of Man is coming will Appear in the Heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the Earth. And they
will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with Power and Great Glory..."

Jesus will make His Second Coming Appearance, and He will come through the Clouds in Great Glory (Matt 24:30, 26:64, Mark 13:26, Luke 21:27, Rev 1:7, Zech 14:4, Titus 2:13, Acts 1:11), on White Horses, with True Born Again Believers from all the Ages (Rev 19:14). These Believers will have received Rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ, after the Rapture, and will then Rule & Reign with Jesus for 1,000 Years, and then Forever.
A remnant of Jews that are left on the Earth near the close of the Tribulation, will turn to Jesus (finally) as their Messiah. They will then enter the Millennial Kingdom to receive the Promises that were given to them long ago by God, thru Abraham, and others, in the Scriptures. (Zech 12:10, Rom 11:25-27)

Satan will have been locked up in chains in the Bottomless Pit during this time— that is why there will have been a great time of Peace on the Earth (Rev 20:1-2,3). And Jesus will be King over all the Earth.
- Rev 20:1-2 "Then I saw an Angel coming down from Heaven with the Key to the BOTTOMLESS PIT and a heavy chain in his hand. He seized the dragon—that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan—and bound him in chains for a THOUSAND YEARS.
The Angel threw him into the BOTTOMLESS PIT, which he then shut and locked so SATAN COULD NOT DECEIVE THE NATIONS ANYMORE UNTIL THE THOUSAND YEARS WERE FINISHED. Afterward he must be released for a little while."
During the 1,000 year Reign of Jesus, the Curse on the Earth & on Man (Gen 3:14-19) will have been broken by Jesus. It will be a World where: Righteousness, Justice, Peace, Mercy & Goodness prevails
(Isa 65:20–22, Isa 11:6-10, Isa 11:1-9). Nature is restored to it's Before the Fall of Man status. People's life span will greatly Increase, and Language Barriers will be gone. Jesus will once again walk with Mankind, on a Restored Earth, just like he did with Adam & Eve in the cool of the Day (Gen 3:8-9).
The Believers throughout the Ages past will Rule & Reign with Jesus during the Millennial Kingdom.
- Rev 20:6 "Blessed and Holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be PRIEST OF GOD and of CHRIST and will REIGN WITH HIM (JESUS) A THOUSAND YEARS."

Near the end of the One Thousand Years, Satan will be let out of Prison for a "little while" to Deceive the Nations, for one last time. He will once again deceive Billions of People as he did in the past (Rev 20:8, Rev 12:9). Fire however will come down from Heaven and consume them.
- Rev 20:3 "...Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. Afterward he MUST BE RELEASED FOR A LITTLE WHILE."
- Rev 20:7-8 "When the THOUSAND YEARS come to an End, Satan will be let out of his Prison. He will go out to deceive the Nations—called Gog and Magog—in every corner of the Earth. He will gather them together for battle—a mighty army, as NUMBERLESS AS SAND ALONG THE SEASHORE (Billions). And I saw them as they went up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded God’s people and the beloved city (Jerusalem). But fire from heaven came down on the attacking armies and consumed them."
Satan will then be Cast into Hell— the Lake of Fire (Burning Sulfur)— (Rev 20:10), where he will be Tormented Day & Night Forever.
The Unbelievers from all the Ages will then be Resurrected from Hades (Hades is a "Temporal" Hell so to speak), and will appear before Jesus, at the Great White Throne (Rev 20:11-15). Since their Names are not written in the Book of Life, they too, like Satan, will be Cast into the Lake of Fire (the Final Hell).
- Rev 20:11-16 “And I saw a GREAT WHITE THRONE, and I saw the one who was sitting on it (Jesus! Matt 7:21-22,23). The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God's Throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were Judged according to the things written in the Books, according to what they had done. The sea gave up the dead in it, and death and the grave gave up the dead in them. They were all Judged according to their deeds. And death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the Lake of Fire. And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the Lake of Fire.”
- 2 Peter 3:7-15 "And by the same word, the PRESENT HEAVENS AND EARTH HAVE BEEN STORED UP FOR FIRE. They are being kept for the DAY OF JUDGMENT, when UNGODLY PEOPLE WILL BE DESTROYED. But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A Day is like a Thousand Years to the Lord, and a Thousand Years is like a Day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed (Perish), but wants everyone to Repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a Thief. Then the HEAVENS WILL PASS AWAY WITH A TERRIBLE NOISE, AND THE VERY ELEMENTS THEMSELVES WILL DISAPPEAR IN THE FIRE, AND THE EARTH AND EVERYTHING ON IT WILL BE FOUND TO DESERVE JUDGMENT. SINCE EVERYTHING AROUND US IS GOING TO BE DESTROYED LIKE THIS, WHAT HOLY AND GODLY LIVES YOU SHOULD LIVE, LOOKING FORWARD TO THE DAY OF GOD AND HURRYING IT ALONG. ON THAT DAY HE WILL SET THE HEAVENS ON FIRE, AND THE ELEMENTS WILL MELT AWAY IN THE FLAMES. BUT WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH HE HAS PROMISED, A WORLD FILLED WITH GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS. And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living PEACEFUL LIVES that are PURE and BLAMELESS IN HIS SIGHT. And remember, the Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved."
Jesus Rules Forever - Of His Kingdom There Will Be No End! |
Jesus will Rule & Reign with True Believers, Forever & Ever, in His Eternal Kingdom, and of His Kingdom there will be No End.
- Dan 7:13-14 "As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a Son of Man coming with the clouds of Heaven. He approached the Ancient One and was led into his presence. He was given Authority, Honor, and Sovereignty over all the Nations of the World, so that people of every Race and Nation and Language would Obey Him. His Rule is Eternal—it will Never End. His Kingdom will Never be destroyed."
The Old Earth & Old Heaven will now Disappear (2 Peter 3:7-15).
God creates a New Heaven & New Earth. The New Jerusalem - a Holy City will Now come down from a New Heaven. God the Father will now live with a Holy Redeemed Mankind.
- Heb 11:8-10 " It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going. And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise. Abraham was confidently looking forward to a CITY WITH ETERNAL FOUNDATIONS, A CITY DESIGNED AND BUILT BY GOD."
- Heb 12:22-25 "No, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful gathering. You have come to the assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN. You have come to God himself, who is the Judge over all things. You have come to the spirits of the Righteous ones in Heaven who have now been made perfect. You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the New Covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel. Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven!"
NEW JERUSALEM |
- Rev 21:1-7 " Then I saw a New Heaven and a New Earth, for the Old Heaven and the Old Earth had Disappeared. And the Sea was also gone. And I saw the Holy City, the NEW JERUSALEM, COMING DOWN FROM GOD OUT OF HEAVEN LIKE A BRIDE BEAUTIFULLY DRESSED FOR HER HUSBAND. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are Victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children."
- Rev 21:9-20
"Then one of the seven angels who held the seven bowls containing the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come with me! I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” So he took me in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God and sparkled like a precious stone—like jasper as clear as crystal. The city wall was broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. And the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates. There were three gates on each side—east, north, south, and west. The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. The angel who talked to me held in his hand a gold measuring stick to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. When he measured it, he found it was a square, as wide as it was long. In fact, its length and width and height were each 1,400 miles. Then he measured the walls and found them to be 216 feet thick (according to the human standard used by the angel). The wall was made of jasper, and the city was pure gold, as clear as glass. The wall of the city was built on foundation stones inlaid with twelve precious stones: the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst."
- Rev 21:21-27 "The twelve gates were made of pearls—each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure gold, as clear as glass. I saw No Temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its Temple. And the City has NO need of Sun or Moon, for the Glory of God illuminates the City, and the Lamb is its light. The Nations will walk in its light, and the Kings of the world will enter the city in all their glory. Its gates will never be closed at the end of day because there is no night there. And all the nations will bring their glory and honor into the city. Nothing evil will be allowed to enter, nor anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty—but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life."
- Rev 22:1-7 "Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations. No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. And there will be no night there—no need for lamps or sun—for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever. Then the angel said to me, “Everything you have heard and seen is trustworthy and true. The Lord God, who inspires his Prophets, has sent his angel to tell his servants what will happen soon.” (Jesus says) “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book.”
- Rev 22:14-22 "Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life. Outside the city are the dogs—the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright morning star.” The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life....... (20) He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people."

FYI RE RAPTURE— There are Many Believers who believe the Rapture could happen Pre-Tribulation and some believe it will happen right before the GREAT Tribulation (i.e. Pre-Wrath)..etc. No matter when the exact Arrival Time is for Christ to take His Church, Jesus told us to "BE READY AT ALL TIMES" (Matt 24:44, Luke 12:40).
